Not sure there is an international rep round next year, but there is a stand alone Origin 2 game next year on a Sunday night. That becomes very fantasy relevant as Origin players wont miss that NRL round as there is none.

Having a week off for cocaine is much better than origin, when they force players to play without cocaine.
Besides, everyone should stop and watch the Fixed-League today, as Sydney FC confirm themselves as greatest ever fixers.
Couldn't help myself..

On the coke issue, the NRL can hardly have a serious crack down on it, when 2 legends of the game are making jokes about the fact they love getting into it.

Because they were in to it themselves in their day. If the nrl were serious about it then it would expose too many high profile players, administrators, etc & of course they don't want that. Also they aren't serious about penalising those that are caught. Look at A. Johns, he admitted everything so what's his penalty, he gets rewarded with a job in the media & various coaching jobs at various clubs. That's a great consequence for his actions isn't it.

to be fair, Bromwich had just signed a 3 year contract extension so he was cashed up ready to buy.

You'd think J-Brom & Proctor would of brought their cocaine privately & snorted it privately instead of doing this process in public at a nightclub. What they needed was a good dealer not some person they just met.

It's ironic that the most dangerous drug which is alcohol is legal. I'd much rather hang out with someone who is high rather than someone who is pissed & violent. No one will bash up their wife/girlfriend when they just had a joint/snort but the chances are very high if they are pissed.

A. Elliot just scored a try. What a great try, a dummy to his right & fends off the inside defender from 10 metres out & crosses the line.

Who is the balding ref handing it to city? Is he actually an nrl ref or like a lower grade one brought up for this game?

That game was probably the best game of the weekend.

Few players did their origin chances no harm in that game. Tamou probably locked up his jersey. Vaughan, JDB, Finucane, Sims did well around the ruck. Ross, Peachey and Addo-Carr made some good metres coming out of trouble and Peachey made some particularly good one on one tackles.

Yeah, yeah. You've been harping on for months, mostly incorrectly, because you don't own him, but you'll be proven wrong, and he will be playing next game, he wasn't injured last game either. He goes off for his ten minute stint every week and if they can get away with a free interchange they do. I doubt you've seen many Parra games this year. I guarantee you'll end up with egg on your face. Time for a new avatar for you I think......what bet do you want regarding Pritchard, Mr. Hindsight?

Ive enjoyed the weekend off to be honest (though I did watch the tonga/fiji and poms/samoa) matches.
Deadset keen for the NRL to resume next weekend now.
I reckon the current mid week origin is a much more disruptive for the nrl and general fan interest (not talking diehards here). The comp becomes so disjointed for two months with players out all over the place.
Love that they are moving next years second origin match to a standalone weekend. Seems odd they put it on a sunday (unless the monday is a public holiday?).

Ironic and hilarious to see Lockyer commenting on the Sunday footy show. I spat out my coffee.

Youre joking right? Ive seen people do some crazy shlt when high. I also know a few people who started with the odd joint, that lead to coke and then the even harder stuff.

The longer I live over this side of the world the more annoyed I get at Australias fascination with needing a cup final at the end of a league season to determine the winner. At least spare football that!
