Not sure if he'll make FG this year, but apparently he will be training with the 1st's so who knows. Also says he could play in the backs or the forward pack. Could be a cash out down the line if he ever does. There is a video of his highlights on the site (Though i'll add one here too), and FWIW Jayne has apparently wrapped him.

Interestingly enough we've also apparently scouted out some U18's from a Fiji Rugby school so perhaps its sign of things to come.

@Archer I don't know a great deal about this guy but I have seen him play a bit and he is very good! It was actually Dakuwaqa that took the last spot in Fiji's Olympic winning 7s team - some say it he who kept Hayne out although I personally don't think Hayne was ever in serious contention (another story).

Anyway, out of interest Dakuwaqa is blind in one eye, lost his sight mucking around as a kid, but the point of this story is I think in part the related resilience and commitment he showed to still make the great Fijian 7s team embodies who this guy is and I think it could be a really great signing for the Raiders!

I guess you could hold but he's gonna lose a lot of cash with another average score. Why not trade this week? Origin uncertainty im guessing.

I definitely need to get rid of Lamb so he will go but the other trade I could easily change my mind. Winterstein has a b/e of 37 & if he has a real go this week he could get close to his b/e. Hess has a b/e of 55 which he won't match unless he scores a try & as you said could bleed a lot of cash.

Considering souths bad performance last week and if Rennings is out with that injury, Fuimaono should get a run and would be a perfect Kelly or Winterstein cashout. Bottom dollar and DPP. Souths fans rate him and have been calling for him to get a run for weeks in place of Talakai.

Yep looking like Kelly -> Fuimono and Hess -> Brown for me. Good trades?

I'm just scared that Hess will bust out a big score, but it really hasn't looked likey and especially with JT out, that doesn't help the situation.

Hess to Brown is a trade im thinking about too.

I will bet he still signs with the Tigers. Manager doing his job conjuring up other interested parties to force Tigers to come to the party.

Wouldn't they just bring Burns back onto the wing & move Hunt to ctr. I know Rennings went off injured the last game but it must of been minor because there's no mention that he's out.

yeah you could be right. Just seems Burns was out of favour with Hunt replacing him on the wing. Should be a big shake up though considering their shit performance.

Talakai has been so shithouse defensively he's in line for a dropping. Madge being the biggest fantasy ruiner in the game he is though I wouldn't be surprised to see Crichton benched. I mean none of us will ever really know better than a coach but would it really be a shock if Madge benched his most damaging ball runner because of reasons?

Sorry Si, Just got back home from a weekend in Syd after going to the Test on Friday night. (I've been busy after some shady dealings after the test, but got the opportunity to meet two of the leadership group of the kiwis though!!!)

I am from Canberra, so took the opportunity to see my first international live. Took my daughter to her first match and she had a ball. She loved the Jillaroos game, but started to lose interest after halftime of the main game. Seeing Marty Tapau for the first time - she kept occupied by pointing out every time Armlegs touched the ball (Armlegs is her nickname for him because he has arms that are twice the size of my legs).

Good game, but atmosphere wasn't that great. Crowd looked ok, but surprised it only got to 18000ish.

....shouldn't he be called Legarms rather than Armlegs ... ? Smile

I think if Crichton gets benched again we can really start to worry.

Hunt (hamstring), centre James Roberts (ankle) and back-rower Tevita Pangai Jnr (knee) all trained away from the main group on Monday but appear to be progressing well.

Might be lucky and get another week with Niko starting.
