Ive just drawn up my dodgy bye planning spreadsheet. and Fuck Me, Im in trouble. Remember when I posted a gif about snoozing at bye planning? oops.
Disregarding unlikely to play red dots:
    R12 - 8
    R15 - 8
    R18 - 9
    R19 - 15
Anyone see any errors about who plays when? I haven't forecasted in players backing up, so that could be more trouble.
No Eels are a trouble at the moment. I'm thinking JWall could become Brown.
Hayne is still highlighted, cause I'm not convinced he'll play.

Yeah I saw that re Nofo.  He looked pretty banged up with that knee in the last game so it's no surprise.  Interesting to see what Cleary does when the whole backline is fit.  Chee Kam back to the bench I'd say.

    Here's hoping MWZ is in!!!

I'm lucky that I have carried Elliot from R1. For all the reasons Milch indicated earlier, it would be a stretch to get him now. Come tomorrow, I'm thinking there will be better cashouts or money makers.

From the glass half full side - He's the starter in favour of Klemmer and I think he's a shoe in for Origin, so Elliott will get the game time to keep him ticking over for me. I'm just doubtful he'll get the 100K to warrant a trade in and out at this stage.

Are you from Canberra mate, or just there for the game?

Sorry Si, Just got back home from a weekend in Syd after going to the Test on Friday night. (I've been busy after some shady dealings after the test, but got the opportunity to meet two of the leadership group of the kiwis though!!!)

I am from Canberra, so took the opportunity to see my first international live. Took my daughter to her first match and she had a ball. She loved the Jillaroos game, but started to lose interest after halftime of the main game. Seeing Marty Tapau for the first time - she kept occupied by pointing out every time Armlegs touched the ball (Armlegs is her nickname for him because he has arms that are twice the size of my legs).

Good game, but atmosphere wasn't that great. Crowd looked ok, but surprised it only got to 18000ish.

    Lol

CHN has a b/e of 13. If he starts I wouldn't trade him out. If he's on the bench he should get 30-40 mins & he should still be able to score 25-35 points & get a good price rise. My plan is to trade him out in round 11 unless Hook keeps starting him.

I think I didn't read the forum for a day and a half and completely missed one of the most infamous meltdowns in Sportal history!

There's a few reports and twitter posts that lolohea is to decide his future tonight.
I think I read somewhere that out of the four offers he received, 2 required a mid season switch.
I think that would have been sharks and tigers, knights and raiders also made offers I think

Raiders have signed a Fiji 7's player - Masivesi Dakuwaqa

Not sure if he'll make FG this year, but apparently he will be training with the 1st's so who knows. Also says he could play in the backs or the forward pack. Could be a cash out down the line if he ever does. There is a video of his highlights on the site (Though i'll add one here too), and FWIW Jayne has apparently wrapped him.

Interestingly enough we've also apparently scouted out some U18's from a Fiji Rugby school so perhaps its sign of things to come.

How certain are people to bring in Eels players in the next few rounds:
Gutho has French and Moses to contend with
Norman has Moses and Origin to contend with
Brown has minutes to contend with
Semi has form to contend with

    Who else?

What I read was that after initial interest, Knights didn't make an offer.
Cowboys would be the other team.

With Warriors giving him permission to negotiate, does that mean no COP? If he has yo wait 10 days, Moses will have to wait too.

On that matter, Moses has not been officially announced by Parramatta. I assume the COP has passed and they are just waiting to see if it's for 2018 or 2017. Any other reason why no deal has been made public

I was doing Lamb to Norman, but not so sure now. I am staying away from Brown for no other reason then so many are bringing him in.

Semi is on my list, will probably go Kelly to Semi next week.

Mau. Doesn't have anything to contend with, will play 80 and score 40-45s reliably if you have enough trades. Might even grab the odd try to boost to 60s against weaker bye-round teams. Considering him to shore up rounds 12-18 before flipping to a real gun.

I've had Mau a fair bit over the last few years and has been solid if not spectacular. Just seems to be constantly on his haunches in backplay this year though.
