As I posted last night, I'm in similar pain with numbers (just without the 141 ranking)

Yeah ok, thanks for the confirmation.

At the end of last round, I pencilled in Lamb and Kelly to Munster and MWZ.
Idris out today and I'm about $2K short of swapping Idris and and nuffie in for Kelly and MWZ.

Although given MWZ and not yet into the team with Nofo still to linger about and possibly come back, is CNK better than MWZ?

    Lamb - Munster
    Kelly - CNK

Gives me the DPP swap straight up and better chance of making early cash up to possibly getting rid of him in before 15 or 18.

People on the Warriors forum are spewing hate towards Kearney for dropping Klokstad for Kata & quite honestly I can't blame them. How the phuck can Kata reclaim his spot when he drops easy passes, misses crucial tackles, can't pass & doesn't know how to set up his winger. Apparently Klokstad has been named in reserve grade & Manu hasn't so maybe Kearney will make another dumb ass decision & play this has been in the 13. I naively thought that since the Warriors won last week & as a unit the team played the best game it has for years that Kearney would show loyalty & name an unchanged team.

Yeah agree with you there. CNK played very well and deserves another game at the minimum, while Kata has been out of form all season.

Reward those who turn up, drop those who don't.

I didn't even realise that CNK is out. I thought he had a decent game and wouldn't have believed he'd be dropped for at least a few weeks. Madness.
I guess that settles my question on CNK vs MWZ - I reckon MWZ has a better chance of playing sooner then than CNK.

Bugger - whats re these NRL coaches doing? don't they realise I have a fantasy team to coach?

Klokstad deserves another go... I thought he complimented RTS in the back line really well

It was oh so close to even more and although its unlikely, if the odds are juicy enough I'd be tempted to throw a tiny bit of cash on an upset (except i'd never bet against Raiders). We are playing like busteds (which i think is fair since some of them actually look injured) and Papa has been one of our only consistent forwards and he's out this week.

Well unless you've got a straight swap lined up just hold him and see what happens. Don't know yet if low priced cheapies like John Folau or Curtis Scott will actually play over the bye rounds. If you've got a DPP CTR/2RF then you have room to move him on, otherwise don't trade Talakai out until you have a definite playing player lined up.

    My trades for this week...
Kelly out for Hayne (via Cotric)
    Hingano out for Frawley

Holding onto Yates, CHN, Hess, Kniko for a bit longer...
Targeting Gallen soon (175k itb for upgrades)

Maybe A.Rey if he can stay healthy and take a gamble that he won't play origin. Great bye schedule.

Just in regards to a few posters asking about player x or player y and commenting that they have good byes, I think it needs to be remembered that for a lot of players (Origin aside) all teams miss 2 games. If a team such as the eels, rabbits, roosters etc are deemed handy for byes it should be noted that at some point a player like Norman, Reynolds, Aubs will still be absent from your team for 2 games. If you care enough to base some trades around bye schedule, chuck your team into a bye planner for 5 minutes and see how you fair in the other rounds as it won't always be easy just to think you can field a 17 as there is only limited teams on a bye

Whilst that is somewhat true, having good numbers and more importantly good scoring players on tough bye rounds will gain you far more ranking spots than missing the odd player in a bye round when most teams are scheduled to play

    Nice ranking. Smile

Other than the general advice that's been offered so far, it's hard to offer more specific advice without posting your team.

TLT was fairly kind to me this week.
Only complaints are CNK being dropped, and the super-obscure complaint that my cashout option Nu Brown seems to have fallen off the extended bench list in favor of Mortimer coming into the rounds where Maloney is a shoe-on to miss 12 and 15

If I trade out Kelly for a nuffy it leaves me with 2 red dots in my CTRs with Aubusson and BJ. Is this a bad idea? (obviously Idris is the other)
