He's ok priced @ 317k with a b/e of 43 so if not this week he could be a cheap 2nd half if you can't stretch to the big money halves. Thoughts.

What are you going to do when JReynolds comes back?

Seems a bit short term to me, not sure the potential upside would be worth spending a trade on. Moses Mbye does have the potential to go big, but not the sort of risk I'd be looking at.

That has only happened twice so far this season, what makes you think they're suddenly going to score a lot more points, especially considering origin is coming up and they will be depleted for at least one round.

They are averaging 24 points a game. No way Kahu will get "at least 10 points via goal kicking" each week.
He's only got 10 or more points twice this season from goal-kicking and has scored under 15 points three times so far this season.

I do not think he is a viable option, he will do you more harm than good.

To be fair, in a Wayne-coached team, 30 points could just as easily come from 15 penalty goals and Kahu would rake it in.

Not that I disagree with the point you made.

    .

I'm pretty sure WL has been playing a lot of Supercoach this year, where you get 4 points per goal. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he'd got his comps mixed up

Or trade him out for Brown who might crash as he is the most traded in player this round IMO

If Thurston wasn't out again I'd be keeping him, but I think he is gone this week and I'll probably take the gamble on Elliott.

Depends how badly you want a gun now. A person like me would go Hess/CHN down and then upgrade the other.
Otherwise I'd sit tight, maybe trade Idris for that Fuimaono guy and aim to trade Fifi out for Brown or Graham when byes roll around.

I'd probably save the 2 trades and hope we learn a bit more about the Origin team make ups and injuries/suspensions in the next week or so.

I've traded Hess to Brown this week.

Ethan Lowe could suddenly become a great POD if he's back to 80 minutes.

Only real concern i think is Hess mate, but you don't have enough to get someone decent with a single trade. Could hold though.

Cheers for the advice there rabbit. Was thinkin of those trades a bit closer to origin time. Have 26 trades in the bank and was thinking of doing

    Elgey > Frawley
    Idris > Semi/JManu

Gets rid of a red dot and a player who has peaked/not useful for byes for two players who are bye friendly and have upside.

    Thoughts?

Forget about your backs. They're all, flakey. Beef up your non origin, solid scoring forwards. They're gold.

Great advice. Went Hess to Brown and was looking at a Manu or Hayne for Idris but might save the trade and work towards Graham, Gal if no origin and Aubbs/SST.

Vaughan is a bit of a tricky one. He has made a nice amount of coin and looks like his price will drop if you arent considering keeping him for the long haul.

I am toying with the idea of essentially straight swapping him for Norman by trading Vaughan to Fai and Lamb to Norman. This leaves a bank balance of 170k to upgrade the likes of CHN or Cook in the coming weeks.

    Thoughts on this idea?
