Whats the best possible WFB combo for the run home? I still don't know what it is myself but I don't think CWalker is in it. Possibly Teddy, Nofo, Rapana?

Imagine a fantasy year where two of the best WFB's options are genuinely wingers. I think for the run home Munster is probably going to be a Top 3 WFB though. Storm will be surging home, he'll have got even better in the 5/8 role and the guy loves to break a tackle.

Teddy, Nofo and Munster for me. Turning Guth, RTS and Slater into those 3 will be the real trick though. Still thinking of replacing Cotric or Sione with Tommy T in the CTR's when he gets back. However both are averaging 40+ recently so no rush for that I guess.
Also Whitehead has to be replaced with Lolo and Fifita must be bought back in at some point so got a lot of trades to make with not a lot of cash cow options to do it with.

On current averages its Nofoaluma, Rapana, Tedesco with Cody Walker and Tommy Turbo just behind.

Next tier is Dogan, Gordon, Munster, Hopoate

Other than you are hitting POD-town with the likes of Guth, Holmes, Latrell, RTS (who I think most people wanted as a keeper but who isn't scoring consistently enough to stick around)

    Whens Mansour due back?

Im running Munster/Nofo/RTS with Cwalker in Halves. Im hoping RTS can stop being a potato at least until after SoO. Then ill go RTS to either Pearce, Teddy or Mansour.

My understanding is that he's almost ready to go. Next Panthers game.

I guess it depends on your trades.  I have 20 and am happy to bring him in this week I think for Kaufusi or Brown if he's no good.  He's been damn solid on that edge so there's really no reason why he should get minutes taken off him.

We are on just about the same amount of trades left. If I bring in Aubbs it will be in place of Suli, which is probably why I'm more reluctant because I'm spending a big chunk of my cash upgrading in a position I'm not entirely comfortable with

Elliot is kind of pricey (he's definitely a sell after origin)

Anything else you could maybe do? If not then probably Elliot.

I've actually decided to bring Elliot in over Gallen.

Elliot averages 51 over 80mins - admittedly a small sample size but his PPM of 0.66 suggests this is about right. This will see him rise up to approx $450k by R19 when he will be an easy jump to a top range gun.

    6 * 51 = 306 pts + $140K in price gain

Gallen plays 5 games over the same period (misses 18) so will need to average 61 to match Elliot's points (which happens to be his 5 round avg)

So same points scored and $140k made for 1 extra trade. No brainer right?

    What am I missing?

Have you seen him play? I wouldn't go near him.

Plus he's named on the bench every week so he becomes a trade out because of the AE

He's played three 80 min games. In the first one he finished on 65, where he scored at least 30 of those points on his way to 2 try's

From this point on the only cheapies I'll be getting are cash outs. Time to bring in the keepers!

yeah, fair enough. A swap for Faufusi, Brown, CHN etc. I think is fine but spending 80K does change things a little I agree. Still a solid trade up, but I'm hoping Suli can bust a try and keep his price so I can use him in round 15.

Yup true - but if you remove that game from his stats - hes still scored 268 pts in 420 mins putting him at a PPM of 0.64 which equates to 51 pts over 80 mins..

That's a good point about Suli too, I may hold him still. God dam this is the toughest period for trades

I have never been a fan of the whole ppm argument.

Playing 20 mins is different to 80 mins.
If you're going out for a 20 min burst the coach will tell you to give it your all and leave nothing in the tank. It's easier to run hard and tackle hard when mentally you know you're there for a short time.

80 minute mentality is different. You need to preserve your energy and not go making 5 tackles a set and running 100mph

Meanwhile, if I don't get Aubbs and I instead keep the spare cash in my pocket I have enough to upgrade Brailey to McInnes next week.

That's what I'm looking at next week. Brailey out next week and Smith who knows what will happen, so don't want to be caught out. Smith to McInnes would be ideal for round 13, but I don't think I have the nuts to do that. If Brailey gets a 70 though this week, that could change everything.
