That's what I'm looking at next week.  Brailey out next week and Smith who knows what will happen, so don't want to be caught out.  Smith to McInnes would be ideal for round 13, but I don't think I have the nuts to do that.  If Brailey gets a 70 though this week, that could change everything.

I'm fairly certain I have sold Smith every season I've played during the byes. But in previous seasons there was always a standout keeper to get. I'm not seeing that this year with Friends reduced role, Hodgson below par and Macca not having the best byes as well as Niko lurking

Please don't go there, I'm still depressed and recovering from that last year.

Got stung by Evans last year and Saifiti this year.....

If Macca was 80, he's the second best option, but because of Niko, McInnes is easily the second best hooker in the game. No hesitation to upgrade next week and stick with Smith and McInnes. I'll be short round 18, but I will just have to cop that.

As soon as you have to turn to PPM to justify your trade, it's time to abort.

You're right about that. Despite Macca going like what straight 60's and 80's for 5 weeks he's still been taken over by Smith this week as the #1 fantasy scorer in the game. Of course that horrendous head clash didn't help matters but still.
Next best HOK is McInnes at #9 and then surprisingly Koroisau somewhere down in the high 30's rank.

Oh yeah I'm with you all the way I'm that. I was talking moreso about swapping Smith out to McInnes rather then upgrading Brailey

Anyone know much about Lindsay Collins (frf 138k) at the Roosters. The foxsports crew reckons he'll be on the bench this week. His only rep honours were Q'land u20's. We've looked at guys like Tualau & Fai as basement dollar cash outs so at the very least he'll play rounds 12 & 18.

Just for the record I'm not against getting Elliot. I have him in my team and he's doing the job.

Only thing I'm saying is that there is a different between spending $160k and $300k on a player who's just there to cover the byes. Really comes down to how many trades you have left, and what else that money could buy you

Tbh I'd have a bottom price dpp player who won't even play than one who's only a frf and might not even crack 10

As a cash out who could net you 20 points over two rounds and then disappear, so to not be an AE risk, Collins could be alright.

Is 16 trades left enough to justify a Smith to Friend trade as in I'll have 15 left afterwards? I'm considering it just because I had planned to have 17 this round but Brown getting injured and Slater being snubbed has changed those plans and I'm coming around to the benefits of the trade but then again I'm not.

I honestly believe that if QLD lose Game I then Slater's an absolute shoe-in to return in Game II negating all that good bye coverage. On the other hand maybe not. I just liked ebing able to say I could field a full team this round.

I've been trying to work out all sorts of different combinations of trades all morning and it'll probably be fruitless if the team list decides to throw a curveball.

All I have to say is Abbey better work his way into the starting side somehow. I'm still dying inside from not picking up Ponga because I figured Abbey is worth it for the byes. Bang

Other than you are hitting POD-town with the likes of Guth, Holmes, Latrell, RTS (who I think most people wanted as a keeper but who isn't scoring consistently enough to stick around)

    Dogan, Stahp.

Is trading out Smith for Kaysa a good move if I already have McInnes as well?

Disregarding bye coverage, is Brailey to Macca for round 13 a good move? Using up all the three trades to cashout the cows

You need 3 trades to fund that one upgrade?
