From a points perspective, i think Walker is the better option if you can afford him. Only issue is that if you $0 in the bank you have no wiggle room for future upgrades.

This milford situation is another prime reason why origin needs to be on a standalone weekend. It is ridiculous that the broncos are without a star player for a club game who may not even (come on ,thurston will play) play origin.

Im thinking of biting the bullet and going Norman to SJ but will leave me short of funds to get two guns next week.

Havent looked at backs but is there any centres of wingers playing worthy of a Kelly cashout??

Man, Niko on the pine sucks a Broncos big one. But I'm amazed Brown has been named, can't be that bad??? And Tetevano starting for the cockle doodle doos is a great sight.

I would like to know what die hard Bronco supporters think of this lineup. Surely Niko benched would upset even the non fantasy playing Broncos fans?

What's the story with 'nu Brown, is he here for a week or two to cover injury or returning to the team?

The next fun thing around origin will be TLT next Tuesday


Teams are allowed to name a squad of 17, plus an extra 4 players. Anyone outside that squad technically can't play on the weekend.

Brisbane have 6 players in origin (plus McCullough who will be under an injury cloud)

What if Brisbane want to name all 6 of their origin players? They have to decide on who they think will/won't be backing up before the game they are backing up from is played.

I foresee TLT next week being a clusterfuck, and Brisbane especially could end up seeking dispensation to play players outside their 21 (depending on how many players they name to back up, and if their are injuries in origin)

Nu Brown should play 15 too. Perfect cashout if you had an Elgey, Hampton or even Hingano.

Aside from not having my garbage Rabbitohs centres named team lists have been pretty good to me. Capewell starting backrow Tualau grabs a bench spot and Brown named

To be fair to the senile old geezer, Wayne is really only responsible for 1 of those. Macca not being named is no real surprise after that horrible incident, and Milf is outside of his control.

Niko, well yeah that's a kick in the nuts but from a Broncos perspective I can see why they are going that way. I think Niko will still get good minutes (Waddell is mud, but at least he is a genuine hooker and he can take the early sting out) and if it is in the middle he might still rack up a half decent score. Here's hoping anyway and his BE is low enough he will still make a bit more cash. I never thought he would get to over $350k so he has done his job for my shit team.

I'm not surprised by it to be honest, pretty sure the Waddell / Niko arrangement happened last year when Macca was out (or year before maybe?) - not sure if they ran out that way but they were named that way from memory.

Don't necessarily agree with it, but I ain't the coach and it does have merits. I reckon Niko has earned his start though and could have been named at 7 or 9, with Benji or Waddell on the bench. Even Glenn could give Niko a rest if needed.

Anyone think Smith will back up after Origin? Storm play two days later and its against the knights
