    Thanks mate.

One thing I noticed with Fifita, which may just be a coincidence, is that he seemed to pick up his fantasy game (perhaps his real game?) in the lead up to Origin selection. Im wondering if his form will continue to be at that standard for the rest of the season or not? Does anyone know off the top of their heads, or can find out how he went at the tail end of last season?

    Cheers

The thing is with Fifita you just never know which Fifita will show up on game day, he can have a quite game, be a bit lazy and give away stupid penalties or he can go ballistic like a man possessed, it's just too risky not having him I think.

He also has this uncanny ability to post 50+ scores without looking like he's done very much.

    McInnes
    Fifita, Kapow
Crichton, Surgess, Gallen, Taumalolo, JTurbo, JDB
    Cleary, DCE
    TTurbo, Croker, Hayne
    Edwards, Tedesco, Mansour

Leaves me 3 trades and 164k, to hopefully grab Smith next round and see how the season pans out from there.

Thats a great team mate and I really like those trades.

I brought Teddy in myself but if he doesn't back up I'll have to reevaluate.

Never thought I'd say this but I'll be struggling to pick 2 out of my 4 CTR to play after this round.

Currently have: TT, BJ, Fui, and Scott

I would probably agree with that.

I have also been looking at Fifita but am probably leaning towards holding off for a game or two post SOO because his scores seem to have dropped off over the SOO period.

Thought it may have been reduced minutes but it doesn't appear to be.
In fact his highest score this year has been during nearly his shortest game time (49 mins) and it didn't involve a try.....just a shitload of tackle breaks which may indicate the less game time he has the harder he goes and the more stats he racks up

I agree mate his scoring has been a bit down lately but I think once origin is over he'll go back to being 100% focused on his club and posting consistent 60+ scores.

Ive had Fifi the last three years start to finish, he'll come good once Origin is over.

JTurbo though is a gun but keep in mind possibly with Manly finals bound this year he may get some rest during games leading to the finals? We saw last year when he wasn't playing the full 80 his scores suffered because of it.

I could possibly trade out semi and upgrade to Rapana or Felise Kafusi to Fifita the weak after leaving me with 2 trades the final 5 rounds, is that a good idea you reckon ?

I can't believe players whose wives are due to give birth would even consider missing a game of league. Surely rugby league is their first baby & you want to cuddle it & not abandon it.

And I can't believe that in this day and age of sport's science and analysing all aspects of the game to the nth degree in the hope of gaining every small advantage possible......that coaches/clubs aren't enforcing (i.e. making it contractual) a fornication window between say February and May (or maybe even March/April for more certainty) just to ensure players aren't tempted to make the wrong choice and be there at their kids birth as opposed to missing a regular season game of NRL.

Seems crazy to me that it isn't happening.

Some people on this forum probably have a fornication window that closes for 6 months or more of the year

Perhaps footy players should plan around the NRL season when knocking up their women.

By knocking up of course I mean........

Oh boy. I'm not sure that was the best choice of words. Maybe you could rephrase it to sexy time.
