I dont have Milchy's stats at hand but how much was DCE's kick meters affected by Green?

DCE's average kick metres per game were 214.2. For some reason Green isn't listed under Manly or the Warriors on nrl.com but considering teams probably kick 350-400 metres per game then Green probably had some impact on DCE you could say. Green's kick metres could of been anything from 160-190 metres per game.

I don't have the stats to back anything up like the resident bovine, but anecdotally I started the season with DCE and was very frustrated that Green did a lot of the kicking. He still hit some good scores when he made a bunch of tacklebreaks and scored a try (and one game when he went huge on tackles), but there was nothing dependable like kick metres due to Greens influence. I expect the same thing to happen to SJ.

A few thoughts for the 2018 fantasy season...

    The Top 3 Guns

Cameron Smith, CS9, the Machine... Is this the year where we'll see a decline in his fantasy performance? Will Cronk's departure negatively affect his scores?...
I don't think so... Cronk's departure is likely to push CS9's scores up a bit as he takes a more dominant playmakers role, and with the new Forced Drop-Out points he'll probably bag a few extra points here and there.

Jason Taumalolo... Wow! What a year 2017 was for the Wrecking Ball (cue Miley Cyrus singing), can we expect more of the same in 2018. Hmmm on the fantasy front I'm expecting a slight drop in scores, With the return of Matt Scott from injury and some fresh input from Jordan McLean.

Angus Crichton... the Mighty Angus....I'm expecting more of the same from Crichton this season, with the injury risk reduced after losing the bird on his left hand, he will have another gun year... bring on the 4 fingered facepalms!

OK, first version of 2018 team planner is here

    http://www.mediafire.com/file/t5bib5abkax0t9c/2018_Team_Planner_v0.1.xlsm

I have gone for an unrestricted 8 man bench as that appears to be what we'll be getting.

Any bugs of feature requests post them here and I'l see what I can do.

Looking great! I've put my draft team into the planner without trouble

I only noticed Cameron Murray's 2017 details missing

I'll fix it up properly later - but for some reason he is down as "Cameron Murray" (2 spaces before Murray)

I'd love to take a punt on my man crush Vaughn but I think he was the Ryan James of 2016, don't see him repeating that season, especially now with Graham around.

Speaking of Matt Scott, I'm not sold on him either. I think Lodge is a goer and I'm liking McLean also, think he'll have a big year.

Cam Murray still locked in for me in the second row and probably Arrow.

    Smith
    JBrom, Lodge
    NBrown, Tohu, Arrow
    Munster, JRey
    Hayne, Milne
    Tedesco, Inglis, Fonua
    Lichaa, Cartwright, Garvey/Havili, Hastings/Croker/TWright
    Hiku, Evans, Kikau, Rookie 2rf/wfb/ctr

Of these, I think pretty much every team will have Smith, Lodge, Arrow, Cartwright, Milne, Inglis, Raiders hooker and Manly 5/8th

Happy new year all! I was trying really hard not to return this soon but couldn't help myself! Been trying to knock over all those jobs i put off during the fantasy season. And just when I think after two decent seasons I'm starting to figure it all out, BOOM everything has changed. Like SI I'm a planner and can only hope the new changes are useful to us types. It also looking like I might get to start with one or more of my Cowboys after my last two years of pretty much avoiding them. JT, Tolo, Lowe, Scott and McLean all in the frame, although with the inclusion of the last two I'm not convinced Tolo can repeat the superhuman effort of last year (happy either way though if he does!) Kind regards to you all.
