Checked the Android app to get some of last season's data and see registration is now open. It takes you to a page where it says App coming soon but you can build your team on the website - which you can't yet, but seems like wheels are in motion...

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 2
When I look at the top priced halves I have a reason not to like most of them:
SJ = 835k - plays for Warriors & he's just started running as per wacko tweet plus too expensive
Pearce = 824k - new team, could take a while to gel, too expensive, will he score the same as he did at the Roosters
Cleary = 818k - too expensive, how will Maloney affect him
DCE = 715k - I do like him as he will be the dominant half & has a nice opening draw but L. Croker will be in my 17
Munster = 714k - very tempting & with Gene Miles telling him not to let his 2017 success go to his head I think Munster is the best half to get but 67k more expensive than JT.
B. Hunt = 688k & Widdop = 666k - will game share but both will play behind a massive pack
Milford = 666k - will he start hot or cold
A-Rey = 665k - made of glass
M. Morgan = 663k & JT = 647k - possible game sharing, really unsure how this will pan out. Will JT take more of a back seat to advance Morgan's career. But JT at that price & goal kicking & plays round 13 & no origin is a plus.

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 2
Is there a reason Latu is being talked up
played 9 games over 40 minutes last year and average 25, priced at 22
minutes bump at the titans?

Yeah that is a good option & D. Tupou could get a lot more tries with Cronk's kicks. But I already have Latrell & Tedesco so I ignored Cronk. If I go with a cheap half I might go with Moses as he'll be goal kicking & use the cash elsewhere.

Don't forget top halves will get extra points from forced dropouts (which aren't factored into their price)

With Wallace suspended the first 2 games & James playing in the 2fr that leaves the propping stocks at Latu, M. King, Boyle, Hipgrave so maybe that makes Latu the senior prop & will definitely start. But maybe while Wallace is out then James will play in the front row until Wallace returns in round 3. I'm not really a fan of Latu but I see the attraction of a starting prop at 328k.

JT was one I instantly thought of with the new drop out points. Plus not playing Origin (at the moment) he's hard to leave out.

Yeah he should be starting and could get a minutes bump. Also I know everyone thinks Jai Arrow is going to get the 13, but if Max King can get 60 minutes he will do solid.

Surely its Boyle and James until Wallace returns with Greenwood, Proctor and Arrow?
Boyle was impressive last year

Latu strikes me as a bit of a Tagatese. Good impact, but not for fantasy.

I still think Wallace will be the big minute forward, don't see Latu getting more than 40-45 max.
King was also quite productive in his games at the end of the season, as was Boyle.

Agree with both of these, can't see Latu getting the 50 odd minutes he needs to be fantasy relevant
love watching him play, but doesn't translate into fantasy

The Titans have 3 young forwards who are very talented & they are all massive individuals - M. King, Boyle, Hipgrave.

I could be wrong but didn't Mitchell Moses get a few forced dropouts in 2017. I vaguely remember reading a list of all players who produced forced dropouts. It may not of been on this site but I saw it somewhere.

I’ve been whining for forced drop outs to be scored since I started playing this. (Only two years). Being a Thirsty fan I thought it was ludicrous to not have it in fantasy scoring! Thurston can control a game from his kicking game and it should be rewarded accordingly. All the more reason he will be fantasy relevant this year I believe

Are people concerned about his injury or could it be the fact Morgan killed it at the end of last year?
I'm very concerned about his injury. I think his missed tackles will increase and tackles will decrease. Two stats that were already shockingly bad in 2016. I will definitely avoid

After what round did Moses start playing for Parra?
