Dogs rumours seem to be Klemmer to prop, Elliot to lock, RFM to back row.

Not sure what happens to Tolman (bench?)

Elliot and RFM both worth investigating if this does eventuate.

Thanks for the info. I thought there was talk of Klemmer back to frontrow but hadnt seen anything lately. Ill have both Elliot and RFM in my team if thats the case. Think i can upgrade Fualolo to Elliot.

Will you be playing Cartwright even if he starts on the bench? Would make your halves pretty weak.

Also no 2RF cover to speak of.
Butcher (or equivalent priced replacement) bit dodgy if you need to play him 1 round due to short term injury/suspension.

I think having both Tedesco and Rapana is killing the rest of your team too much. I would downgrade one upgrade halves/2rf

Unrelated to the quality of the players being picked, there is a note here for bench selection.

Cartwright and Watson need to be swapped around.

Watson will never be used to sub in as hooker with 3 other hookers ranked ahead of him.
But Cartwright would be a much handier 2RF replacement than Butcher should one of your starters not play.

Potentially you could also start Cartwright and have McGuire on the bench. Depending on whether any of your halves or FRF are in doubt, and how much you'd trust the respective strength of Kikau and Doueihi

    Smith,

    Thurston, Croker
    Aitken, Milne
    Rapana, Ponga, GI

    I like it pending lists.

You would do that every year normally. You could get set and forget guys like Lyon in the past. But CTRs was always the place to save as a top of the line CTR will net you 40 points consistently, but you could go for someone cheap who could gain cash and average 10 points less. Then splurge the extra cash elsewhere.

    Personally that hasn't changed.

I am tempted by Reagan Campbell-Gillard this year.

He is my early tip to be this years James/Vaughan and have a break out year, going from midranger to gun status.

He has a missed tackle rate that rivals Mitchell Moses.

Probably. Not a lot to go on but last five games where he averaged 69.6 minutes he averaged 53.2 although there was one try in there. I've been working on a prediction of 50, but working those figures through for sixty minutes gives 53.2/69.6 x 60 = 45.9.

Or he gets benched and 9% of teams, me included are cursing.
