Is Kennan = Richie Kennar?
Brave move to run with no FRF backup at all.
And both Garvey/Havili? Will you drop one of them or have them both assuming they share duties?
Positional makeup of the bench seems a bit risky to me

Im not picking Smith, im going for his clone playing with his former partner. Havent seen Friend in many teams actually

Clone?

Could Aubbs possibly be a bench utility and give Friend a spell if no injuries occur?

Early season trades are crucial in jumping to the right money makers, if you have to give up one of those trades (maybe 2 if you need to find cash) because you lose a player for 1 week with no back-up you will fall so far behind.

It's just a gamble if you run a stronger 17 and hope everything goes to plan with weak backups. On the other hand it would be annoying to have cap sitting on the bench in decent backups if you have no injuries or late pullouts, they just sit there on the bench wasting money, or at least hopefully gaining money.
