    Happy 2018 Guys.

Any love for Matt Scott or Surgess this year?

And thoughs on Slade Griffin, talk of being the starting hooker at the Knights over Levi.

Serious question. After 4 rounds would you rather

Probably A. You would have to assume that to be top of the ladder with only that much increase in team value your side is largely guns who are performing to expectations. All things being equal on form/injury, the guy 200pts behind is going to have to use many more trades to get the guns that the leader already presumably has (or they wouldn't be leading)

Though I'm wondering how likely it would even be for such a scenario to occur (I think given the salary cap constraints, to be leading after a month you would need to have a number of low-mid price players performing well above their price, seeing bigger gains in value)

I considered heading out to Theodore to see the game, and probably would have if the Broncs sent even a couple of first graders along

A mate of mine saw Jake Trbojevic kicking for goal and well at training. If Matt Wright doesn’t make the team for Parker or TWright I think he might kick which could make him a serious option

Since no comment let's do this again.

I can get them both in my team if I drop Teddy. Not sure I'd do that but it would free up some cash?

About 3 weeks ago I was reading a Manly forum & this was raised. Apparently Barrett was asked who would be the kicker & he said something like J-Trbo is kicking them alright. It was taken as a cheeky remark & not seriously but obviously he's been practicing for a while. Matt Wright is a good gk but he offers little else as in he lacks pace & finishing ability of a first grade level.

Playing for overall, I'd probably say A. It'll take many a round to catch up that many points, and with less of an origin period to do so in.

Trent Barrett was on sky sports breakfast a week or two ago and he mentioned Wright, Kelly, Api and DCE as potential goal kickers.
Manly use a zillion goal kickers every year so I wouldn't rule any one out. But JTurbo won't kick

tbh I think Mitchell & Ponga are pretty even but I think Ponga has a slight edge as he'll be involved more.
Goal kicking - both look like be the gk's - maybe Latrell has the edge as Roosters will score more tries = more conversion attempts
Team - Latrell plays for the better team with an easier opening draw so maybe he benefits more
Consistency - Latrell can score high & low but can drift out of games & switch off. Ponga playing at f/b will be involved more & could be the main strike weapon on attack. He scored a nice try in the trial after a Pearce kick.
Bye - both play first bye round
    DPP - Latrell advantage

Scott was not given enough of a discount for his injury effected season last year. Bit of a risk coming back from injury. Might go on but at his age it's a risk.

Even if he starts, Slade Griffin won't play 80. He'll share with Levi or Buhrer. Probably still make a bit of cash, but Cook, Michael look more appealing at this point

well that just bodes fantastically for our injury toll this season, just about the only 2 relevant players in that group of 20 as far as starting team selections go and both cop injuries. horrible news for Savelio if confirmed.

Ponga and Mitchell both have a BE of about 38

Number of games at centre last year that Mitchell scored less than 38 - 9 (out of 16 games at centre)

Number of games at fullback last year that Ponga scored less than 38 - 0 (out of 6 games at fullback)

Both should kick goals this year. Ponga had 0 last year. Mitchell had 9 last year

They were praising Issaco. But id doubt hed get any game time only if Boyd missed any time. Goal kicker too.

Actually who will be our goal kicker?

One of the leagues some mates have had going for a few years now - we were talking about how we haven't kept track of who won when (and Fantasy keeps changing so there's no historical records) - so I put this together for posterity:
