I just checked out the stats of Ryan James.

The only major difference between his year of averaging 60 in 2016 and his year of averaging 48 in 2017 was an average of 3 to 4 missed tackles per game and a few less tries

Any clues to what caused this? The titans had some crazy injury problems last year and lots of people playing out of position. Maybe is the side is a little more stable this year the missed tackles will decrease again. Maybe it is all Kane Elgey's fault. In any case surely his scores will rebound a bit this year?

On the Hingano signing. I highly doubt the core of Austin and Sezer in the halves with Havili as the hooker will change significantly due to this.

What changes from last year make you think they could return to 2016 form??
Of cause a new hooker. Very Happy
And that hooker may actually be fantasy relevant.
I'm not sure about including Raiders backs this year.

Just be aware James has never scored anywhere near his top end yearly averages when playing on the edge

All his big years have come when he is playing prop

He was prop for both of these years and that is a huge difference in scoring. When has he played on the edge before? Is he playing there this year?

How can I find stats for him on the edge?

I thought this but didn't sezer start at hooker or something in the trial? the raiders have been doing some weird stuff.

Any time a coach starts messing about with combinations and positions mid game it always goes sour.

EDIT sorry havili started. not sure how many mins. apparently Williams played 60 mins of the game at half. Sezer played 13 mins at hooker later in the game. sidenote: the raiders forumers are really down on their hopes for this season..

For I am a proud hypocrite.

    Brown + Latu
    vs
    Merrin + AFB

In terms of total points, I'd go the latter. It's tough to say who I'd choose though, as Brown is looking like a solid bet.

I personally think Merrin is going to get back to somewhere in that 52-55 point mark. Last year he was extremely out of shape, which both reduced his minutes and increased his missed tackles. I was stoked to grab him in fantasy draft with my 3rd round pick, because I'm expecting big things. (To put it in perspective, I drafted Merrin with my 1st round pick last year- and when I saw how out of shape he was in the trials, I was immediately full of regret).

I read about 2-3 weeks ago that apparently Hingano's little sister told her class that they were moving to Canberra.

I thought I read rumours late last year he wanted out of the Warriors (culture?). I suppose they signed Blake Green to a three year contract, so with SJ and Green it leaves little room to play NRL any time soon. The Raiders would provide more opportunities, if not immediately.

Yeah I think he just wants to play. Raiders must have offered something about first grade even if it’s not straight away.

Raiders don't have a coach, they've got Stuart.

Made a WAGs team looking for players who can go boom if the stars align right (plus the usual 228k lot). Completely unbalanced (love the backs, hate the depth), but could win a weekly if they still existed.
