Reported McCullough may not even start the season and if he does apparently he has some mental barriers around his game at the moment and a lot are expecting to see either Sam Thaiday or Todd Murphy rack up some minutes at the hook

Bugga, that could be a problem.

For some reason I think that if the storm get a 12-14 point lead Cam Smith will get rested for the last 15-20 minutes and B.Smith will get game time - I Know, Crazy
    McCullough for me.

Storm played a utility almost every game last year.

Don't see why B.Smith is any more special than S.Griffin. And like most coaches, bellamy wants to win games, Smith won't be rested unless the game is well won (and in such cases, he has probably racked up a big score already)

Also, how many halfbacks miss games for anything other than form or injury? If Croft is performing, he'll play every week.
I am not sure he is a season keeper, so he only has to play the first 2 months, then hopefully can be swapped into DCE/SJ/JT/Pearce whoever looks the goods.

Sucks, I completely forgot my login details from last year! Anyway, I haven't spent too much time on my team but here it is:

    Smith(C)
    Lodge, Jesse Bromwich
    Elliot, Brown(VC), Paasi
    Cartwright, Thurston
    Milne, Aubbs
    Turbo, Inglis, Ponga

    INT:
    Havili, Cook, Lichaa, Croker

    EMERGENCY:
    Katoa, Hipgrave, Hiku, Kennar

Thoughts? Still waiting for team lists but this is the main basis I have. I think it's interesting that they changed it up this year, it will be nice to see what happens to fantasy in the coming years.

i like one of elliot or paasi. takes balls to go both especially with rfm as an option. im siding with elliot though as i think the warriors will have 2 80 min backrowers in mannering/harris, while the dogs will only have one in jackson which may mean more mins for elliot

the elliot/rfm combo reminds me a bit of last year with kbrom and fkaufs where only one will take off. hopefully they both do

Somehow I think picking the right strategy this year may be more important than players picked.
Strong bench vs couple of cheapies propping up your 17.
Keeping a lot of money vs a small amount.

I'm not a fan of Elliot unless he plays lock. He had some good games last season but also some shockers, and the missed tackles/errors ruined his scores.

Oh man have no idea where to go cheap this year.

Team full of Mid Rangers that have a chance of increasing in price then depending on the situation trade up and down depending I who the boom cheapies and falling guns maybe.

    Could that work?
