    interesting though.

He was on the bench for the first round last year playing then played the last few games, with limited minutes I believe.
I too was one of the ones that had him in my team all of last year. Will consider going with him again but certainly not sold on him.

If I don't get him round 1, I will be following his involvement closely against the Rabbitohs.

Kid loves a tackle and has a great technique there plus he's got crazy strength.

Yeah, something like that.  He's not bad though.  Priced at 274K in the front row.

Priced a little too high for me if that's the case and bizarre that he's not listed as a second rower as that's all he's ever been. :/

I'm pretty sure he was a front row last year in fantasy too.

When is Manners expected back? Papalii probably drops to the bench moving someone out. Harris to play 80mins weekly?

For the record, hate this mobile site but still very to creep through the thread so worth it lol

Iapali'i was in the forward rotation last season for 1 or 2 games but I watched him and he was gassed after 25-30min (basically after me watching a game of the Warriors). He had big wraps as he won a could of NZ junior weightlifting records, but I don't see what he brings atm.. Would've thought Afoa slots in at 2Rf and Pulu at Lock..

On Harris, I'm ever the optimist and see him going big. He's inside Green again (correct me if I'm wrong) wasn't that when he was a big scorer? Also picking him for a couple of try assists. If any half goes down, I'm picking him to play 5/8..

And that's my 5 cents guys (took me 3 days to go through all the threads lol)

Carney was different though (honestly I hate when people compare the situations). Carney just kept fucking up, repeatedly. They'd just had enough of his crap.

And to be fair, Carney hasn't NOT been allowed back in the game in the last couple of years.. Its just that no club has actually wanted to sign him.

I agree though, nothing he did was even that bad.. I've seen plenty worse, it was just over and over.

no, neither do kicks for tocuh from penalties. 40/20s do get counted though from memory, on top of the bonus points

there are drink-driving, dangerous driving, assault and vandalism charges in his past, the bubbling incident is only the tip of the iceburg, while none of the incidents are on the scale of a Lodge or Packer, the problem is that Carney wouldn't be getting his 2nd chance, he'd be getting his 5th chance, i read somewhere that he is yet to see out the full term of any of the contracts he has signed playing professional rugby league.

found a handy-dandy timeline,up until his Sharks sacking, i'm almost positive i heard about him getting into more trouble during his stint at Catalans, but i can't find it, note i was a little bit off, theres a couple assault complaints but no charges ever laid -

    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-06-29/todd-carney27s-history-of-trouble/5558332

    December 2006
Carney charged with drink driving and reckless driving in Goulburn and later suspended from driving for five years.

    May 2007
Carney and team-mate Steve Irwin pursued by police through Canberra. Carney abandoned car and fled on foot, leaving Irwin in the passenger seat. Carney charged with multiple offences. He was placed on a 12-month good-behaviour bond, banned from driving until 2012 and sentenced to 200 hours of community service. The Raiders retained Carney.

    July 2008
Carney alleged to have urinated on a man at a Canberra nightclub. He was suspended by the Raiders but the complaint was withdrawn. Canberra issued an ultimatum to Carney, which included five-points that would see him cease all football with the club for the remainder of the season, go on an alcohol ban until 2012, undergo counselling, complete a community service program and pay a $20,000 fine. Carney asked for a variation that would avoid points one and two.

    February 2009
Carney involved in vandalism in Goulburn. He receives a 12-month suspended sentence and undertakes alcohol counselling.

    December 2009
Carney reportedly injured a man by setting his pants on fire on New Year's Eve. No formal complaint was made.

    February 2011
Carney faces a low-range drink-driving charge and is stood down by the Roosters.

    April 2011
He is found to be drinking with team-mate Anthony Watts and stood down indefinitely by the NRL. He returns in round 10.

    August 2011
Carney and team-mates Nate Myles and Frank-Paul Nuuausala break a team agreement and are caught drinking. The Roosters release Carney from the final year of his contract.

    June 2014
Carney turns in a man-of-the-match performance to lead Cronulla to a win over Brisbane, but two nights later is sacked after a photo of him urinating into his own mouth is leaked on social media.

Paasi on the extended bench as well. Think he's coming back from a minor preseason injury and could come in for Papalii if not in final lists then next week.
