Murray was always a mid term buy so will need to hold him for a bit but will get more minutes over time and will repay you there. Not worth 2 trades being wasted .

Lichaa is a wait and see but give him a few weeks as he isn’t losing cash

Mitchell scores 28 doing absolutely nothing.. Having a player like that isn’t bad as he will average higher than that with some 50/60’s hopefully giving you that 40+ average you are probably looking for

So all 3 are holds, look elsewhere to fix things

Them and Croft are the only guys that misfired for me so far. Think they are all worth holding. Any advice on downgrading Cotric to free up some cash to upgrade Katoa?? I still have Isaako on EMG to come on for Katoa, should I just keep Katoa on EMG?

    Thank Booze!!

No trades planned so far until we get more info on Katoa. Kennar already covering CTR/WFB so able to sit tight and see how it plays out

Katoa has a multiple jaw break, mate. Out for 4-8 weeks.

[quote="Welshy"]RFM playing 80 will score 40+ on average plenty of cash left in him [/quote

I'll be getting RFM for round 2 for SST. C. Thompson will come in for Katoa.

Thompson will surely keep his wing spot once Nofo gets back in a week or two

Bye bye to Lichaa....RFM tackle breaks and running is impressive

Players like Mitchell, Murray, Lichaa — should I hold on for a tad longer and hope I get some good scores.

Katoa - how to upgrade when he is already 212k. Should I DG cotric to Leilua to give me some cash to jump on another cashie?

Rest of my squad did pretty good.

Any advice would be good thanks guys

StormTrooper96 Hold Mitchell, he will explode when they sort themselves out at Bondi Junction after there embarrassing loss.

Murray is going to be cheaper if you can wait and SST was not impressive for his price plus it looks like Mitchell gets the goalkicking role

when the chooks actually score tries. This is just me but I do not rate Lichaa as he cannot pass both sides and the opposition know it.

For what its worth I downgraded Aubbs to Manu so I have the coin to arsehole Katoa for the best round 13 player I can get. Manu was O.K

but the revelation to me was the number of hit ups Fergo was taking for the chooks. Good luck with your squad StormTrooper96.

Swap Isaako with Katoa next week

    And done.....

If you have some play money and want to turn Katoa into someone making cash then pick another cow

You picked Cotric for a reason so would let him play it out and you have cover
If you really wanted to downgrade I guess Leilua is a gamble you could make if you think he can score well. Not a lot of choice now given there are 2 games left.

Thanks for the help guys!! Really helps. I got 59K ITB, so that should be enough to turn Katoa into a cow

Might not be. Thompson and Kennar could go up 45-50k. It will be for Isaako though.

Thinking I will upgrade Katoa to Dufty at lockout.
Also might trade Lichaa, he really needs the 80mins to be value.
Croft can stay. Think he will be better when Munster pairs him

No worries mate. Keep in mind early season averages will be a bit skewed with such limited samples.

General rule is to take a player's tries and other rare huge point plays away from their scores to get a general idea of what you can expect from them week-to-week.

Though for a lot of backs, their ability to find the line, make linebreaks or break a lot of tackles is just about the only factor. Stacking WFB with fullbacks rather than wingers is generally better since they get more involved in attack, and are more likely to defuse kicks and grab free run metres on kick returns.

    - For forwards their base stats are tackles and run metres.. If a guy routinely makes 35 tackles a game and 100 run metres (worth 10 points), they have a base score of 45, so any tackle breaks and offloads will hopefully offset negatives (errors, penalties, missed tackles) and bump them up to a 50+ average.

Some guys like Fifita are prolific tackle-breakers, so can factor that in for some.

    - For halves you generally look at kick metres (1 point per 20 kick metres), factor in whether they're decent defensively or downright terrible (missed tackles can be a killer, see James Maloney).. And make rough guesses on their attacking ability.. line-breaks, assists and whatnot.

I literally went through a lot of low scoring players and there's a heap of populars ones that didn't do well. No on popping over 70 yet either, it's gonna be close at the top but you probably wanna be in top..2-3k to stick in there.

Yeah it is certainly tougher this year to claw your way back through the season and over the bye rounds. With that said I am sitting at about 13k. So I hope we are wrong. At this stage 800+ will be a decent score this week.
