I'd certainly rather have a bet on your side. Don't think its a lock by any means though.

I watched the game live and he just seem to hang back and let Crofty get as involved as possible. He also went off at 79th min if anyone wants to speculate.

Never thought I'd see the day where i might put CS9 into my interchange but might be the case come next week.

Doueihi should cover Croft and more. Brown to cover Merrin. Murray covers Arrow plus some and the same wth Jurbo with TPJ. Its nice to have a stress free round aye?

I thought it was somewhat disrespectful to the opposition getting subbed in the last minute of the game, like really Cam?!

No way Smith falls $200K. He could bust out a casual 70 any week now and reverse those price drops.

Problem with not starting Smith is knowing when you get him in. Standalone Origin weekend probably means earlier is better this year, but it'll be all too easy to leave him out so long that you'll burn all your trades and have to go without.

Not starting with Cam pretty much means that - with possible reduced minutes over Origin period - if you don't reverse strategy and get him in first month then you don't get him until Round 19.

Pretty much the optimum play looks like having Cook and McCullough as soon as you can - also giving one high scorer in each bye round, and then flip one of them (or someone else as we can have more than two hookers) to a,slightly discounted Smith after byes.

But then you've played 3/4 of the season without him...

Cook and Macca could be matching Smith's scoring if they keep 80 minute gigs. I can see having all three as the optimal way forward.
Makes Taupau/CWalker pretty valuable late season as well, with their DPP on the bench to support having three gun hookers.

Teams only have 1 bye this season. 13 or 17

Being a little harsh on him I think. Sometimes fantasy scores affect peoples opinions of players way to much, people used to gush over Fensom's ability when in football terms he was a pretty average player.

I've had Thurston and Croft in my halves since season start. Every week I tell myself they'll get there and that I just need to be patient but, having watched last night's game, they are definitely getting traded next week. They have both performed well below what I expect, both on the field and fantasy wise.

Then again I could just be really salty because I've burned my captain and 3 players and have shit all points to show for it.

Farah to the bench?? Surely he will come on as a utility and not a hooker?

Talk of bulldogs chasing Sezer, seeking a release in the coming weeks. As a raiders supporter, not sure how I feel. I reckon one of him or Austin need to go, too much money tied up in mediocre halves. That and playing three halves and a hooker is madness. Have hingano as cover. I say let him go.
