Hmm, preferred the Friend/Macca idea because as you said - peaks and troughs. I'm also not as impressed with the warriors this year as others, to me that weekend loss says more about us then it does about them. I'd be worried they might do a st merge and head on a long losing streak starting April. Then again, my team is an absolute train wreck with possibly my worst start to a season... so go for it!Welshy wrote:

OOOO just realised Munster is under RTS price, could be a good POD but still only available in the HLF positionmulvy wrote:
For me it's not about holding Teddy or not, I'll likely be holding. It's about whether to addin RTS or not. In fact for Lichaa I can bring in anyone from about RTS down. I'm not concerned about position just want the best bang for buck scorer.
for you mate best bang for buck for under $752,000
Harris

Rapa
Gallen and Pearce but both have loads more cash to drop

What you reckon?
Personally, if I could afford RTS I'd get him in now, but getting Murray more of a priority for me and can't work the budget unless I sacrifice TPJ, which I don't want to do. I have Ted, Ponga and Walker in the WFBs but love the idea of Ted, Ponga, RTS for the season with Walker moving to halves and becoming SJ after first bye.
Just from observing the games, purple patch or not reckon RTS will be highest scoring WFB this year and, bar injury, won't go much under 750k. Always a gut call/gamble with WFBs though.

I usually think like that mate, but I thought if I got RTS or Rapa in then I'll have a set and forget back 3 and can use all the other cows cash later for a reserve hooker score from Macca/Friend laterArcher wrote:

RTS seems well settled in over in NZ now and playing exceptionally well but (and something I am bearing in mind regarding SJ) the Warriors have an incredibly tough run of games coming up.
Bloody hard to tip at the moment but I would have thought Roosters, Cows, Broncos, Dragons, Storm, Tigers and Roosters again is a somewhat challenging draw......

Apparently French went for scans too. May be 2 spots open this week. I already have him in my team as my loophole.

RTS certainly hasn't peaked. BE is 27 this week. He saved my ass this week, my other options for Captain were SJ or Rapana, the 2 lowest scorers on my team.

The problem with this list is that none of them play round 13, except Koro and hearing he could be in Origin contention.

RTS feels like the safe bet at WFB. However, the teams they've played so far have been good for racking up TB's and LB's. I think he'll score well against the Broncos, but he'll struggle against Cowboys, Storm, Roosters and Tigers. In saying that, still wish I had him lol

Edwards a must i reckon, with Clearys injury i see Edwards getting that little bit more involved.
I'm going to see how RTS goes through the upcoming tougher schedule.

When looking at gun upgrades I try to firstly grab players I'm terrified of not owning cause they can end your season very quickly. Fifita, Crichton, Tedesco, Rapana etc. The guys who have solid base stats anyway but can pull out some monster games in a row.
Would love to grab Crichton first but if the Rabbitohs keep losing he could find his way to the bench when they fall out of finals contention

At what point in time can other coaches see what trades I have made in my team on the leaderboard?

When the new player you have purchased starts his game. If you for example buy C. Murray & Souths play the last game of the round then he will show up then & not before.

Centres are garbage. I like Dugan at fullback available in centres over all other options.
I've done Nicholls to JMK.
Not sure if you have enough cash for both those trades

Just wondering who's on your trade target lists over the coming weeks? I take the, cow and upgrade to value/gun approach (not sure if it's the best). So trade targets for me rn are Harris, Friend, Macca, Fifita. How about you guys?
