Jele wrote:A little lost on looping options this week.  Team as follows, assuming Turbo is fit (I traded Matterson to Curran, but might need to reverse and do Matterson to Doueihi instead).

    Cook
    Haas Papali'i AFB
    Fifita Curran
    Cleary DCE
    Aitken Bird
    Teddy Turbo Walsh

    Moses Watson Verrills
    Croker
    Lolo Peachey Savage Chambers

Savage and Chambers my only red dots (and Lolo a maybe). Was thinking I could use Chambers to look at Peachey vs Bird in CTRs, but not sure how to use Savage (if at all given Raiders play at 6pm Friday). Any way of having a look at Croker/Verrills/Lolo?

    Hi Jele

If you go ahead with the Curran trade you could set your team as follows:

    Cook
    Haas Papali'i AFB
    Fifita Curran
    Cleary DCE
    Aitken Chambers
    Teddy Turbo Savage

    Moses
    Watson
    Walsh
    Bird
    Croker
    Peachey
    Lolo
    Verrills

After the Manly vs Canberra game you will have four options:

    1) Croker and Peachey score well. You don't have to do anything - at the end of the round Walsh and Bird will sub into the starting team and Croker and Peachey will move up to positions 16 and 17

    2) Croker and Peachey both have crap scores. You will have to swap Walsh with Lolo, Bird with Chambers and then Chambers with Verrills
Your team would then look like this:

    Cook
    Haas Papali'i AFB
    Fifita Curran
    Cleary DCE
    Aitken Bird
    Teddy Turbo Savage

    Moses
    Watson
    Lolo
    Verrills
    Croker
    Peachey
    Walsh
    Chambers

At the end of the round Walsh will sub in for Savage and you will avoid Croker and Peachey's scores

    3) Croker scores well and Peachey is crap. You will have to swap Bird with Chambers and then Chambers with Lolo
    Team would then be:

    Cook
    Haas Papali'i AFB
    Fifita Curran
    Cleary DCE
    Aitken Bird
    Teddy Turbo Savage

    Moses
    Watson
    Walsh
    Lolo
    Croker
    Peachey
    Chambers
    Verrills

At the end of the round Walsh will sub in for Savage, Lolo will move up to position 16 and Croker will come into position 17

    4) Peachey scores well and Croker is garbage. You will have to swap Bird with Curran and Walsh with Lolo
Your team would then look like this:

    Cook
    Haas Papali'i AFB
    Fifita Bird
    Cleary DCE
    Aitken Chambers
    Teddy Turbo Savage

    Moses
    Watson
    Lolo
    Curran
    Croker
    Peachey
    Walsh
    Verrills

At the end of the round Peachey will sub in for Chambers, Walsh will sub in for Savage and you will avoid Croker's score

If Taumalolo is a late scratching you can put Verrills in his place in options 3 and 4 but you will be stuck with Croker's score in option 2

    Good luck with your loop

    At @wolfking

    Set your team as follows:

    Brailey
    AFB Haas Watson
    Crichton Fifita
    Cleary DCE
    Burton Bird
    Hynes Ted Walsh

    I'Pap
    Manu
    Verrills
    Laurie
    Lolo
    Peachey
    Trindall
    Blore

You're getting Peachey's score regardless. If Trindall is the higher scorer don't do anything. I'Pap will sub in for Crichton and Peachey and Trindall will come into positions 16 and !7
If Blore is the higher scorer, swap I'pap with AFB and at the end of the round Blore will sub in for Crichton and Peachey will still move into position 17

    Good luck

Hi guys, would love some help here.

My plan at the mo would be presuming Avo's out - wait and see how Bird scores, if he scores well I leave him there he jumps in for Avo, otherwise Mbye can swap in.

Then same for Verrills, if he scores well I leave him there and he comes in as final sub. Risk is Avo plays and I end up ruining my 18th man between Bird and Verrills

Sorry if this is a mesy post... i'm hopeless at Looping.

    Cook
    AFB - Haas - iPap
    Fifita - Murray
    (c)leary - Moses
    Ramien - Averillo
    Teddy - Ponga - Walsh

    Curran - KElly - Brailey - Douehih
    Bird - Verrils - Mbye - Crichton

    Cook
    AFB - Haas - iPap
    Fifita - Murray
    (c)leary - Moses
    Ramien - Averillo
    Teddy - Ponga - Walsh

    Curran - KElly - Brailey - Douehih
    Bird - Verrils - Mbye - Crichton

Assuming that Averillo is indeed out and that you have not selected Ted as your vice captain, you may want to set your team as follows:

    Cook
    AFB - Haas - iPap
    Fifita - Murray
    (c)leary - Moses
    Ramien - Averillo
    Doueihi - Ponga - Walsh

    Curran
Kelly (I assume this is Albert Kelly)
    Brailey
    Teddy
    Verrills
    Bird
    Mbye
    Crichton

After the Dragons vs Cowboys match you will know the scores of Bird and Verrills and you will know which one you want to be included in your weekly score (let's face it - you will want both of their scores because Mbye is crap and will get a single digit score against the Panthers)

Anyway, if they both score well you don't have to do anything. At the end of the round Ted will sub in for Doueihi, Verrills will move into position 17 and Bird will sub in for Averillo

If Verrills and Bird are a bit disappointing and you want to take a chance on Mbye, you will have two options:

    1) If Verrills scores less than Bird you will have to swap Mbye with Doueihi. At the end of the round Bird will sub in for Averillo and you will avoid Verrills score.

    2) If Bird scores less than Verrills you will have to swap Mbye with Averillo. At the end of the round Ted will sub in for Doueihi, Verrills will move up into position 17 and you will avoid Bird's score

This will all fall apart if Averillo ends up playing
    Good luck

EDIT. Walsh hasn't locked out yet so you could have him at position 17 instead of Teddy if you prefer

Hey Cookie how does this look? Any better way to set this up

    Grant
    Haas, Watson, Lodge
    Fifita, Wilton
    Cleary, Hughes
    Aitken, Burton
    Teddy, Ponga, Latrell

    Fog, Klemmer, Milf, ARey
    Verrills, Schuster, Papy, Walsh

Gives me the option to loop:
    Papy and Walsh via Latrell
    Verrills and Schuster via ARey

As your red dots aren't DPP, that looks about the best you can do for looping this week.

I'm not sure I should wish you good luck with the players that you choose in the loop, as it's probably better to get rid of all your wretched luck this year so you can have nothing but good luck next year

Cookie, anything fancy I can do with this? Probably not as I only have 18 players.

    Verrills
    Lolo AFB Haas
    Fifita Crichton
    Clearly DCE
    Burton Bird
    To'o Walsh Ted

    Watson Blore Peach Trindall

    Hynes Laurie IPap Brailey

Gotta be a simple 18th man thing hey?

Probably Peachey at 19th man with someone risky at 18 is the best bet.

Best loop options play on Sunday which reduces options.

Thanks Milch. Peach and Blore probably the best option. Probably not worth doing Hynes or Trindall with Peach there. Blore seems solid enough for 40 though so it's hard to sit him out.

    Guess the option is either

    a) look at Peach first and drop Blore if Peach scores well
    b) Put anyone who plays earlier in the loop. Someone who may fail spectacularly, and sub Peach in if they fail. Sort of an insurance bet if you think someone might flop

    Verrills

    Fifita Crichton

    To'o Walsh Ted

    Watson Blore Peach Trindall

    Hynes Laurie IPap Brailey

Gotta be a simple 18th man thing hey?

This isn't really a great loop, but you could set it up as follows:

    Brailey
    Lolo Watson Haas
    Fifita Crichton
    Clearly DCE
    Burton Bird
    To'o Walsh Ted

    AFB
    Blore
    Trindall
    IPap
    Hynes
    Peach
    Laurie
    Verrills

    1) If Verrills spuds it up for the week, swap Watson and AFB and then Watson back into the starting team for Brailey. Team should look like:

    Watson
    Lolo AFB Haas
    Fifita Crichton
    Clearly DCE
    Burton Bird
    To'o Walsh Ted

    Brailey
    Blore
    Trindall
    IPap
    Hynes
    Peach
    Laurie
    Verrills

You will get everyone's score apart from Verrills
(As part of this scenario you will get to see Hynes score in the following match. If he puts up an even worse score than Verrills you should reverse the above changes and also swap Peachey for IPap. Team would look like this:

    Brailey
    Lolo Watson Haas
    Fifita Crichton
    Clearly DCE
    Burton Bird
    To'o Walsh Ted

    AFB
    Blore
    Trindall
    Peach
    Hynes
    IPap
    Laurie
    Verrills

You will get everyone's score apart from Hynes)

    2) If Verrills scores well don't do anything until you have seen Hynes play.

If Hynes scores well you don't have to do anything.
At the end of the round Hynes will sub in for IPap and Verrills will sub in for Brailey

If Hynes scores poorly, swap Peachey with IPap. Team would look like this:

    Brailey
    Lolo Watson Haas
    Fifita Crichton
    Clearly DCE
    Burton Bird
    To'o Walsh Ted

    AFB
    Blore
    Trindall
    Peach
    Hynes
    IPap
    Laurie
    Verrills

At the end of the round Verrills will sub in for Brailey

or you could just do what Milchy has suggested (usually a better idea  Wink )

Good luck with your looping Wolfy

    What else!? Laughing

I'm going through with what you've suggested. The look at Verrills is a free no brainer regardless and Hynes didn't score too well last time playing 6, so gut feel was to always loop him. If IPap ends up playing and Hynes is shit, that's an easy decision, if not I guess Blore will sit out.

Stuffed the setup of my team this week but was there a way to set up my team to look at the scores of both Taukeiaho and Verrills? My red dots in McCullough, Cook (and presumably Murray) are all from same game but I also have two trades in hand which I was planning to hold until the Manly game.

    Verrills
    Haas AFB Watson
    Fifita Crichton
    Cleary Fogarty
    Bird Aitken
    Tedesco Ponga Drinkwater

    Dearden McCullough* Cook* Murray*
    Tauk Hynes Walsh Schoupp
