Just a question. Why the RFM trade?

RFM has peaked in price, and though he scores well enough I don't see him in my final team. He might average 50 but I am putting together a second row which should find closer to 60 av. He needs to become Taumalolo before round 13 anyway so it seems as good a time as any. I am already carrying borderline keepers in Kikau and JFH, but whether they make the final team or not (Kikau probably, JFH probably not) they both still have money to make and RFM does not.

I'm not sure on getting rid of RFM as he has the Eels this week & he could score well. Also Reynolds has the Dragons this week which will be a tough game for him especially physically.

Yeah I am probably just going to pass on Reynolds and bring in DCE next week.

Bank aside, I would've thought JFH is the better trade out? He's gained over $100k depending when you got him but he's got a lower average. RFM should sit around his average and he's playing Eels which have been gold for forward scores.

I would take RFM over JFH in my final side any day of the week

    Current Team
    Smith

    RFM, Arrow, JTurbo
    JMK, Maloney
    Mitchell, Ramien
    Tedesco, TTurbo, Thompson

    INT:
    Havili, Rein, TPJ, JFH

    EMG:
    Sorenson, Cogger, Hiku, Gosi

    Trade thoughts:
A: Arrow, Thompson --> Fifita, RTS ($58k remaining)
B: Arrow, Sorenson --> Fifita, Martin ($228k remaining)
C: Arrow, Gosi --> Fifita, Martin ($196k remaining)
D: Arrow, Hiku --> Fifita, RTS ($5k remaining)

    $168k itb. 20 trades remaining.

I currently have shit halves that need upgrading. Maloney --> Cleary with maybe DCE or SJ pairing with him is my ideal end state, but I have no clear path there and I don't know how to get there from where I am at the moment....

You are right in that JFH won't make my final side, I have plans to trade him to Surgess next week (injuries withstanding)
So since my plan is to trade one of RFM or JFH this week and the other next, i think the better order is RFM first and JFH next given their breakevens.
JFH can still squeeze another 20k or so whereas RFM is pretty much sitting on his average and has more potential to lose money than make it

Nice. Was going to hold him anyway as a POD. Maloney will become DCE next week.

    BUMP

    28k bank

    Smith
    Fifita TPJ
    Murray Arrow RFM
    DCE Matterson
    Mitchell Isaako
    Tedesco Ponga Mbye

    Cook
    Kikau
    JFH
    Sua

    Lane
    JMK
    Cogger
    Gosi

Am I crazy for thinking Arrow(if he's iffy) to Martin and Isaako to Capewell? No CTR cover but that would leave me with about 580k to upgrade my cows when they peak. Not having any bank scares me. Thoughts please fellas?

I would look at this differently
RFM ave is 49.9 and has a BE of 45, whereas JFH has an listed average of 42.9. That is not his real average at the moment because the first 3 rounds he played a different role but his last 6 games played at Lock he has averaged 47.8. Still less then RFM but without tries and most importantly has a BE of 32 and will still make more cash.
So I would trade RFM first, regardless of who they play

I reckon Arrows gonna play out like Browne last year, always getting our hopes up playing but the rib injury flaring up and coming off the field etc.
