I think its a ridiculous move to be honest and would like to see the points difference for the trade.

They are my 2 planned trade outs this week. Lets me keep Arrow, get Fifi in and a value buy POD that should score similar to both Murray and RFM.
Bringing Harris back in then

Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:I have 21 trades and am thinking of Thompson/Maloney > Brimson/Taumalolo, so 19 after that.
From my count Ill have 11 keepers (including Arrow) and 4 borderline keepers, Hiku will probably stay around as CTR/WFB cover in EME so that makes 5 borderliners in essence.
So that leaves me 5 cashies. Havili, JMK, Martin, Sorenson, Brimson. (Unsure when Martin, Brimson, Sorenson will become useful)
Havili (600k) and JMK (450k) are earmarked for a 2RF/HLF (850k) keeper next week.
So my team next week with 17 trades remaining will look like:
Cook
Fifita, Arrow*
Taumalolo, Taupau, RFM
DCE, Matterson
Aitken, Hiku
Ponga, Teddy, Walker
Smith, Kikau, Murray, JFH
Sorenson, Martin, Brimson, Cow
Taupau could become Cleary instead and I'll move Matterson up to 2RF
Planning is good for the soul.
That's a good 17.
Hiku the only weak link, then the same borderline 4 that pretty much everyone has to make decisions on. I think if you can bring in people like JTrbo, Surgess, McCullough over the lesser of RFM/JFH/Murray/Kikau that would be the ideal situation.
Main issue is cash generation. Sorenson is pretty much done. Brimson is a hit and hope, so you might be relying on Martin and whoever you bring in next week to make enough cash to fund your final team upgrades. Possibly even could spend a trade or 2 on looking after byes

Barnett is a tempting price, but he's a little too inconsistent for me. Knight's pack rotate a bit so can't be certain of his ongoing role. Certainly can pump out as big score but gives you 30s as well.
If you want him it has to be very soon whilst he is still cheap enough to make it worthwhile.
Personally I will avoid. I got him for the run home last year for the same reason. He was cheaper than other options and had good potential, but then he hardly delivered on that potential so I have been scared off. That is the life of a fantasy coach - I don't like Barnett but happily traded Dugan into my team.

I've discovered a bloke in NSW CUP who needs to play NRL asap, in a game that Vossy commentates.

He fits the profile of the kinds of PODs I need to be getting into to catch up ground on the leaders. Last week when highly owned players were crashing and burning my PODs like Capewell, Taupau, Hess, RTS were doing well, so made up a lot of ground with a decent score finally. I now have 9 players with an average of 2% ownership between them, all value buys. Just waiting for a number of them to fire in the same week again.

Some bizarre trades going on in here this week if you ask me.
RFM - averaging 50 and no reason to suggest that will stop.
Arrow - missing one week to rest.
Admittedly, I am strongly considering trading out Murray, but there is definitely a chance his role has now changed slightly which will affect his scoring.

Do you like these trades (I'm keeping Arrow)
Rein out - Taumalolo in
Sorenson out - R. Martin in
Brennan said if Peats gets through training this week he'll play. Martin will give me cash generation but I'm worried about when Tolman comes back.

RE Brimson:
"He's been excited," Copley said. "It' always good seeing a kid get his opportunity.
"I've been impressed with him since he joined the main squad in November and everyone here has been thinking, when he would make his debut, not if."
Obviously its just a puff piece from the Titans website, but all these guys seem to have expected Brimson to play FG this year. You really gotta wonder why Brennan didn't give him a go earlier rather than putting Cartwright in there... its almost as though the media/fans is dictating his team choices..

Arrow missing 2 in next 4 minimum. I didn't start with him because I heard he had broken ribs pre season don't know what happened there. He's had issues with back spasms or ribs at least 3 games recently 1 he came back and scored well. I'm holding this week but if he misses next week as well I probably sell

I am refusing to believe that Murray will play more than the one game this week from the bench against the Dragons who they may just want to hit hard early on with the bigger forwards. I hope I am right

With 17 trades and a settled 17 I can hopefully take a punt on a couple of cash builders when they become available to me.

Also with my trade numbers would it be possible to move Arrow on this week and grab him again after the bye week? Would that only cost me 1 trade?

Every player misses a game due to bye though, it isn't really something that should be factored in for a season keeper, assuming you don't have 30 trades up your sleeve.
He may well play origin, but Mcguire/Gillett should both be back by game 3 which, on paper and at this stage, would likely push him out of the 17.
