I like the sound of that. Means I have to get rid of the Bald Shit truck before round 13 but can bring you in instead, Cheers

Paul Gallen is expected to play but will have to take part in Captain’s Run to play, also keep eye on Andrew Fifita who is still struggling due to knee injury. From wackos blog post

Hess has been ordinary in defense. One of those times the stats don't tell you the full picture. His line speed is ordinary. He rarely puts the shoulder in and whilst not missing the tackle, the attacker is able to make 15-20 metres and then half the time allows a quick play the ball. Perhaps his reads also don't give confidence to the guys outside him. There is a reason teams are attacking our right side and he is part of that. Morgo was just awful as well.

Maybe Hess will grow into an 80 minute edge defender. We all know what a beast he can be in attack but maybe Green needs to change things up. I'm afraid I could care less about what that means for your fantasy team.

Yeah, one of these times where fantasy and actual league don't coincide.

I watched Hess very closely last night. I agree with what you've said.

The thing that stood out to me though was his lack of attacking touches. Seems like its part of the game plan, perhaps to get him through the 80 and as fresh as possible to defend.

Im not sure what you were seeing on attack last night Matt. He had the one good run when JT put him through the gap, but aside from that I don't recall him looking dangerous at all. Most runs he had were <10m and he only ran for 58m in total, I'd say 18 of that was the LB so he must have only touched the ball 5 times outside of that run I reckon.

That being said, fantasy wise he was solid last night.

You'd think NQ will have to make some adjustments soon. They can't keep going like this surely?

If rumour of Peats starting and Rein to bench are true is Rein a sell even with low BE?

Decided not to get Fifita this week, would love him to only play 30 mins and drop 10k Twisted Evil Would make my trades next week easy...

Hold Rein if you can. Basically will make $1k for every point he gets this week. I'd take a 30, then punt the guy next week.

Not yet, I'd expect him to at least score 20 and maybe more as Peats will likely be eased back into the team. You can afford to wait until next week with his low BE

No. Even from the bench he'll beat his BE (you'd think, its 11) so whether he starts or not has little to do with it IMO. The factor that would come into play is some teams don't have a better trade out prospect to get their new gun, so if you are in that boat I can see a reasonable rationale to trade him out now.

Also, so many rumours turn out to be false so I'd wanna wait and get confirmation. Peats may even drop out in a few hours when they cull two from their team.

I think you can wait a week without selling, but if Rein is on the bench I'd try not to have him in my 17

Hampton has been amazing this year. Well done anyone who took the punt. Most improved fantasy player in the comp.

Hey mate, so u still got him as well i see... he is now still making cash and scoring well enough to be in the 17. Its a hard one now as do u consider his job done and cashout or keep playing him. Similarly for me with Welch also, not sure if i should bid farewell. As Milchy said most improved is so applicable, in years past if anyone asked me the top 5 'no go' players he was consciously on my list. But he looks totally different this year.
Whats more interesting is he could score even higher if the cowboys were clicking, his scores come in waves it seems. Being 36 at h/time for example.

Given NSW history of selecting players out of position, id say it doesn't mean much.

I either take Baldy’s 30 or loop Rein. I reckon if Peats is OK, he could be eased back in and Rein gets more than 30. Fuck off Peatsy. Have a week off....it’s the Storm ffs. They could break you again.

Loving the Huth and Fitzy as early season picks. Hope they keep going. I ended up not trading and have 23 left now. I hope the current team is good for another 800+, then I’ll start raging and look to round 13 and more keepers.

This is scaring me into not bringing in Fifita.

Pull the trigger or wait a week?

Surprised Martin isn't an auto trade in for anyone that didn't bring him last week. Bringing him in and taupau this week. Watched most games in the rlwc last year and Martin seemed a really good player, confident he'll stay on the edge with Jackson at lock this week.

Taupau captain too. Yes he's slightly overpriced now but with the reliance on him in that manly pack, I chose him over Fifita as he's got Gallen coming back and a knee injury he's battling with.

Who are the post round 13 bye trade ins?
Harris is a lock for me. Struggling to think of many others. Maybe cotric or croker?
