So Bulldogs saying Mbye for sale. Does that mean he'll go through the motions on the field or carve up in the shop window. I was leaning towards selling this week

haha yeah, pretty strange thing to say when Ennis was never the most talented footy player but always gave it a good crack.
Jon Cartwright is only going to keep the Bryce talk going by sticking his nose in.

The guy is on big bucks, stinking it up on the bench in a mediocre side. He can't defend, Ennis is pointing out what any Titans fan would be thinking, the guy is so soft on defence ATM it's hard to see him being a back rower. Feel sorry for the Titans, he's becoming the new Hayne.

Eisenhuth is a tank, if you are looking for a cheap Jurbo, he is your man.

He would have been in my round 1 team but was named on the bench for Wests in round 1. He's the base stats man as you said.

Huh. I actually did captain Kikass.
I'm not too salty about that, but kinda wish the captain lockout would start before after work beers.

Glad I bought Fonua the other week, hopefully he gets DPP in a few rounds so I can play him in the CTRs. And a good l**ph*le score this week too

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 41
Friday at work in PS is always a good time to analise im team (pun intended)
Cook
Fafita, JFH
Jurbo, RFM, Murray
DCE, Maloney
Aitken, Croker
Teddy, RTS,Ponga
Smith, Kikau, Rein, Havili
Fona, Hiku, Nichols, Isaako
Ive bolded the players I plan on keeping pending injuries or huge form slumps.
Plans to be executed in the next month:
Downgrades: Hiku, Isaako and rein first on chopping block. Im thinking prior to Byes, ill probably have to burn at least 1 spot in the EMG. Even with a team value of 13.5M there isn't enough money floating around to have adequate depth. The players ill look to update first are below.
Maloney: im thinking, ill keep him for a few weeks yet, ill give him 1 game with Cleary back and a poor score. No more than that. He has been a good pick up. Will look to move him straight to Cleary, or SJ after rd 13 if he is ever fit.
Murray: Given the news of him moving to the bench, he is moving to the watch and act list. If he gets SFA minutes this week with a full strength bunnies pack, ill move him to Surgess. If he can get a 45/50 average leading into byes he stays.
Havilli: If Harris has a stinker, and Havili hits his BE, these will almost be a straight swap. Madness. Otherwise will become Surgess as early as next week. If not the week after, pending on scores this week but also the emergence of decent cash out options.
Fonua stays until Rd 14. Stoked with picking him up before his first game. The guy loves the contact, the fend and the offload. Good for 30 a game, could use some fitness though.
RFM: Peoples teams must be boss to trade him out now. The doggies forward depth is putrid no way he doesn't maintain his average. I may consider an upgrade to Tauapu, Tolo or Harris during byes if the money is available
Leave backs as they are for as long as possible. No need to touch or have cover, if they injured ill just swap them out for another back that is equally as annoying to watch.
Taupau, tolo and harris: 2 of these three will need to find their way into my team at some stage.

Hess has been great with 80 minutes. 49 tackles, 1 missed today, on the edge. Very rarely misses tackles, huge motor, always gets back fast for the next play.
Just not getting the ball that he needs to really impact in attack. Give him 10+ hit ups a game and he will go huge. Wasted at the moment.
Hess has been ordinary in defense. One of those times the stats don't tell you the full picture. His line speed is ordinary. He rarely puts the shoulder in and whilst not missing the tackle, the attacker is able to make 15-20 metres and then half the time allows a quick play the ball. Perhaps his reads also don't give confidence to the guys outside him. There is a reason teams are attacking our right side and he is part of that. Morgo was just awful as well.
Maybe Hess will grow into an 80 minute edge defender. We all know what a beast he can be in attack but maybe Green needs to change things up. I'm afraid I could care less about what that means for your fantasy team.

Hey Matt, welcome to the forum, you've been playing well and would be almost a keeper if you got reliable game time at lock. Do you know something we don't, whats happening with ET?

Dont know, I would like to see ET on the right edge instead of Rochow, leaving M.E. in the middle.

I went CThomp to CScott in the hope he'd be fit. If he's on the Origin radar that seems likely

The JT blaming is becoming a bit of a joke especially by some in the media who should know better.mulvy wrote:That was diabolical. We were so bad. Happy enough with bringing in Lolo, he has been awesome. As bad as we were, and as much as Thurston is fucking my fantasy team, to say he is shit and played a year too long is complete rubbish. In real life he has been adequate, trying his guts out and yep not at 100% but still better than most. It's not his fault that we made 15 errors, five of them O'Neil's. It's not his fault our right edge defence was cut to pieces. It's not his fault that we were trying to win with clutch plays every play for the last fucking twenty minutes without earning it.
I love TMM but's he's not a bench utility. On one set , three bad dummy-half passes followed by a knock-on. Will be a great 5/8 I reckon but not a hooker's asshole, but we don't really have anyone else with Chud injured again and Hampton going good at centre. And Hampton needs to stay at centre because otherwise we have to keep ONeil who NEEDS to be dropped. Do it Greeny, do it. Give Tuala a run!
I'm not convinced by the Hess on the edge and Lowe in the middle thing either but haven't figured out a solution to that, and have to end my rant and go to bed.
