Would you honestly trade Hughes in for 3 weeks at fullback?
Noting that 3 weeks of real time is 2 NRL games

Pressure on NSW? You are joking right?wolfking wrote:Fresh start for QLD. They could just go out and throw caution to the wind, who knows. Pressure on NSW though.
First time in how many years without Slater, Cronk, Thurston and Smith. Pressure is off NSW.

Wonder if Hopoate is worth a crack. Only scored twice and averages close to 40. Would probably move to FB if Mbye moves on?

I'd say pressure is on NSW to get the win against a QLD team void of those guys.
Imagine the shit if they can't get over the line

This is where everyone has lost their mind.
Taking two future immortals and two hall of famers out of the squad doesn't automatically mean Queensland is fielding a team of numpties. Their backups are about on par with NSW. All it does is even the playing field for the first time in over a decade.
Blues should be favorites by rights, but the bookies and the public have lost the plot in exaggerating the difference between the two teams. I'm a NSW supporter and I will be betting on QLD because their price is so out of proportion with their realistic likelihood of winning.

Was waiting on Tohu until after the Denver test to see what happens yet I didn't put a second thought into lumping SJ straight into my team

surely SJ doesnt go, they are letting players decide with no punishment. With his injury history i would be staying home and im sure the warriors will have a quiet word to that effect too
