A lot of them can (and the others can be attributed to Robbo - playing too rigid, not making the most of Latrell etc.)
But the Roosters have sped up markedly whenever Radley has come on for Friend at dummy half this year. Friend's service is average and his decision-making is appalling. Radley improves in both of those, his intensity in defence is yet another string. Maybe Robinson has eased him in this year worried about whether he can cope with big minutes on the step up to first grade, but I think he's answered those questions.

Whether it be this year, last year or any year, one thing the roosters havent looked is anything other than 'ok'. Its a standout for me, they have a loaded squad and cant produce more than 40 mintues of gud football every now and then. And often look horrible. Look at the squad, look at the talent, nada results.

As a Roosters fan the Crichton signing worries me. We are going to lose a ton of depth and be very top heavy. Not a lot of top liners with only Fergo from the top 17 missing. But some young talent like Brock Gray, Lachlan Lam, Chris Smith that we probably won't be able to resign. Couple of injuries hit and it could be a very long season.

I can't understand why Radley hasn't replaced Friend yet. Friend offers nothing in attack.
Roosters also let Watson play 2 string to friend last year.

I've been to five or six (all at Suncorp) - to be honest hte only reason I don't bother anymore is the price of a ticket. Upwards of $200+ for a good seat. (yeah yeah anywhere in Suncorp is a good seat).

I've been to 9 all at ANZ. Every one of them a blues loss.

I havn't been since Game 3 of 2015 at Suncorp
Qld won 52 - 6, it was like watching an unrelenting horror show.
Havn't recovered yet, probably scarred for life.

How does TLT work with origin tomorrow ? Clubs select their origin players then request dispensation to change from the NRL ? If they're injured I can understand but if it's a case of resting your stars, then that's just ducks and drakes. Do the NRL have the balls to call the clubs out on it ? Or is TLT a joke during origin ?

It is dependent on how many origin players each team has in their squad. Can't remmeber the exact numbers, but teams are allowed to name extra backups if the have a certain number of origin players.

It is ridiculous to make NRL teams make a decision on if their players can back up from origin 28 hours before the game.
Players who don't get injured may or may not need a rest based on their workload during the game.
Expecting accurate team lists from those with a lot of origin players is foolish

I've been to 2 at suncorp.
First we list 30-0 and was a rubbish game.
2nd time was a dead rubber that ended with 2 or 3 brawls and Ben Creagh running away. NSW won and it was an excellent game to go for.
Only trip to Melbourne origin was when Jarryd Hayne went close to stepping on the sideline.
Went to a lot at homebush in the early 2000s when QLD couldn't win there so have seen plenty of NSW victories at least

I've never been to an Origin match but it would be so much better than watching the pre-match commentators predicting the way the game will play and then it doesn't eventuate that way.
This year I will watch Love Island instead of watching Johns, Locky, Gould etc talk up bullshit before the game. Heck, I would even prefer watching the Muppets, the real ones.

Bypassing this origin talk for second...
Captain choice this week?
Smith vs Broncos
Taupau vs Warriors
Fifita (injured...) vs Tigers
LOLO vs Eels
Cook (knackered) vs Titans
Koro vs Warriors (I dont have the balls)
DCE vs Warriors
Taumalolo the stand out, right? Any left field options to throw in?

I could be wrong but I think Tolos last few scores up there against the Eels have been shit.

Those with Elijah Taylor in their team he's said on the Denver Test that Tigers are his priority atm but if he's picked he'll be going to Denver
