Rein and Maloney were calculated risks. Those that brought them in did the research, made the call on how the scores fared when they were in previous, similar situations (Maloney as main half doing majority of kicking, Peats playing 80 or close to). I kept my expectations pretty realistic and jumped off both at the right time (potentially could've kept Maloney longer). Was extremely happy with the output and cash from them.

Rein and Maloney are a key reason I have the team value I do now.

Farah will be mass traded in this round. He is probably the best value trade in you can make at the moment.

If you already have Cook,  Smith and McInnes, then you may as well make it the full house.

Presumably you have 1 DPP 2RF/FRF to provide cover there. Maybe you'll be leaving yourself open to danger if 2 of your forwards go down in the same week - its the risk you have to consider.

You CTR/WFB cover won't be in your 17 so is pretty much irrelevant.

So it sort of depends on who your HLF cover is and how happy you are to run with your team that way.

    Cover? whats that.

I never use cover when I have 4 hookers. Feels better

If Perrett goes to Penrith, grab Fainu and have 5 hookers.

What are Perrets prospects at Penrith?

I hope Fainu gets the run, I took a punt bringing him in regardless.

    Kikau

    Martin
    Graham
    Tuala
    Brimson

Every now and then I like to do a little average-at-home vs average-away analysis.

I'm trying to figure out who to pick to replace Corey Thompson so had a quick look at RTS and TTurbo.

    RTS averages
    Mt Smart: 42
    Elsewhere: 42

    TTurbo averages
    Lottoland: 60 (4)
    Elsewhere: 40 (9)

Manly have five of their last 10 at Lottoland.

So between Kikau, Tuala, Brimson I have everything bar hooker covered.

Now who do I trade Fonua out for, Scott worth a punt for the run in?

    Will Souths release Farah?

Apparently at the beginning of the year Souths said they wouldn't stand in his way if he could play first grade for another club. So we will find out how true this statement is. Will they be true to their word or turn out to be lying hypocrites.

Yeah it does. The last I read was the Tigers board had accepted the proposal but the Souths board had yet to approve the deal but reading the article it seems gtg.

Who cares about Perrett's prospects at Penrith.

The main point is he'd free up a top 30 spot at Manly, and Fainu could come in.

Anyway Fonua - Farah gives me

    Cook
    FIfita Arror
    JTrbo Taumalolo Harris
    DCE Cleary
    Dugan Hiku
    Ponga TTrbo Tedesco

    Smith
    Gallen
    Surgess
    Farah

    JFH
    Martin
    Tuala
    Katoa

    5 trades, $98k (current rank 1063 for R&Ts stats)

No half coverage and playing Dugan + Hiku in the CTRs the obvious weakness

If Martin won't play again soon I can switch him to just about any CTR.
Then just bring in the best half I can afford as cover, and sit happily with my 3 remaining trades to cover injuries.

Shit @ 351k I didn't realise how cheap he was. I've never really considered him but at that price why not.

Never thought about him and at his price it's tempting. Need a back ctr just in case.

Haha that's what I thought. Job security should be fine and can go big on his day.

I was excited about Scott when he was up to 20 odd points early first half so looked at his scores for the season. Absolute junk

He finished on 31 with 7tbs
