Shout out to all the contributors on here! and to a slightly lesser extent those who just ask questions. But still. Shout out.
Personally, I know that this place offers a distraction from other shit I've got going on, I always enjoy logging on and having a stab at broncos fans, and talking about fantasy in general. Thanks to everyone.
Good luck with the final few rounds!

Re: 2018 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 61
Sharks, Raiders, Broncos and Panthers tonight.
Four teams playing and I have one player (Fifi) after only having one player (Martin) last night.
Live rankings gonna kick my butt!
Currently sitting 1450 after starting the round at 1213.

2014 there were 207,573 teams (this was when they did the 'Plate' comp after stuffing up round 1, so heaps of people had 2 teams)
2015 - 118,813
2016 - 112,477
2017 - don't have saved
2018 - 102,586 at the moment
It’s dropping quite fast actually. I think after this year a lot of people won’t play again so they might see the numbers under 100k.
This year because there are weekly prizes I’m sure there were heaps of sniper teams for the bye rounds. Again there would be plenty of people with multiple teams too

Weird that DWZ likely out and Luai to replace instead of Aekins who ran +300m on debut

not thread-worthy three in off-topic always a good place to talk about anything you've got going on if you want to.
I seem to have killed the vibe in there by asking about home brew cider (that I will be drinking tomorrow night, all going to plan!)

Of interest, how come you needed to make three videos? 1 not enough? also, where are the videos, youtube?
I've not seen Loomer's videos, but Facebook groups are still full of people who don't understand the new system, even basic questions about getting an FRF to sub in for a WFB come in almost every week.
I understand some confusion (its still not clear to me what position a DPP emergency will fill if both positions require an AE) but some people have gone a whole season without realising that its moved on from the previous system.

From memory there were around 180k playing before the Plate Comp. I could be wrong but either way, the biggest drop was between 2014 and 2015 after FanHub first wreaked their special kind of havoc.

How it is structured is there for all to use mate. I don't think any die hard Fantasy player isn't aware of how the system is. Just like last year, and the year before that.
FWIW I haven't used the poolhop this year at all; I get it, but it scares me
It scares me too but I am a man who meets his fears head on like jumping out of a plane and going near lavender plants. That shit is disgusting.
I could understand if it was Coriander, that spectacular species of shit does not deserve a place in our World, but Lavender is a pretty weird hate/phobia.

Wacko saying Clifford would start from the bench. I hope not, this seems a total waste, might as well chuck him straight in.

Could be worth a punt, but was last week an anomoly? I guess that's the punt. I don't have him so I haven't paid attention to him at all while watching. 46 a pretty safe score though.

Because the nrl gets a cut from the gambling companies.
Promoting fantasy is a cost that they have a hard time quantifying the value of. And its more of a long game. Ie most of us know that fantasy players watch more football, and in time, spend more money on the nrl, but that is hard to quantify on a pretty chart
