I'd answer that but I was too busy doing anything else to watch those trainwrecks.zorasdomain wrote:

The guy in first is feeling a lot of pressure to do it this week, though, with Holland on the bench and Ponga sitting below him Feel like at this stage I'm silly not to do it knowing everyone else will be.
I would take Holland's score, he's a part of your team isn't he? You brought him in for a purpose, better put that investment to use. (even so Mbye, RTS, and Teddy might all outscore him)

If I had Holland I'd be benching Mitchell probably. Not sure if that helps options

I'd say Mitchell normally but I think the Tigers get smashed tomorrow so Mbye gets my vote.wolfking wrote:

Promoting fantasy is a cost that they have a hard time quantifying the value of. And its more of a long game. Ie most of us know that fantasy players watch more football, and in time, spend more money on the nrl, but that is hard to quantify on a pretty chart
Oh definitely why the fuck would they want to grow the game. Greenberg has shown he is trying everything in his power to ruin it

I love poolhooping.
I don't even subscribe to the "don't hate the player, hate the game" philosophy- I am very much glad it is part of the mechanics, whether by design or accident.
Any extra facet of the game which allows me to think about Fantasy for a few extra hours and bite my nails whilst I deliberate on decisions is fine by my books. Those choices can just as easily backfire, and for me it strengthens the value of the game by including extra depth to it.
It doesn't make me feel like a cheater in the least, no matter how many people bandy about saying so. In fact, I think those claiming moral high ground by not poolhooping are the biggest bunch of suckers in the business. Why deny yourself the wonderous pleasures of the poolhoop? Poolhoop is love. Poolhoop is life.

I love visualizing the possible permutations. If Aekins came in for DWZ I've already thought ahead.
As you said there's inherent risk. It can backfire. Lot of posts seem to make out that you're always winning but often it's just playing the percentages and hoping they pay off

Could be worth a punt, but was last week an anomoly? I guess that's the punt. I don't have him so I haven't paid attention to him at all while watching. 46 a pretty safe score though.
When I think about it 46 is pretty safe plus Fainu wont get 1 TA, 1 LB, 3 TB, 3 OL and 45 tackles every week.
Although if Clifford is named to start before the Knights game tomorrow (as i will have to swap Ponga around) i am tempted to take the punt as these Debutantes have been putting up 50+ scores this year.

Looks like Sam Thaiday is goal kicking tonight!
(I'm not serious about him goal kicking tonight. But it does show that a pic of someone goalkicking at training can mean absolutely nothing ).

There's not really much between Aitken, Marsters and Mitchell.
stats suggest it'd be Marsters or Mitchell to leave out but it's very close.
Player, 54+ scores, average, range
Marsters - 3/17, 41, 22-68
Mitchell - 3/15, 39, 23-61
Aitken - 3/17, 42, 22-70
SJ, ARey and Teddy shouldn't even come into the equation.
Mbye - 4/16, 44, -1-101

I'm not that bad, I just thinking its overpowering and smells horrid.
Had a week about 3 years ago now where I skydived, got locked in a coffin and stood in the middle some lavender patches.
The lavender was the only thing I was hesitant about.
If you haven't skydived, I recommend it to anyone and everyone. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to do it again but it's like nothing else that I've ever experienced.

Last 3 last 5 averages are much more relevant. SJ has kicked 150m last 2 and seems to have no problem with Green doing the equal or bulk. This is a big problem

Disagree. SJ rarely kicks a huge amount and the bulk of his points often come from attacking stats.
The two times this season at Mt Smart that he's kicked under 200m (135, 126) he's scored 63 and 57.
He kicked 201m at the start of the season at home and scored 78.
SJ also scores better at home. He's scored below 50 only once from five games at Mt Smart this season and averages 59.
Away from home he averages 44 and has only beaten 50 twice from six games.
