These last 3 rounds have fucked me so hard. No amount of trades would have saved me.

do you have your head to head covered mate?
I recall us talking about Fergo as a potential buy for you. Was worried until Holmes pulled out a gem too!!
Yeah mate. Head to head and overall, so thank you. I mentioned last night how you recommend Fergo and was worried but Holmes was great.

How the fuck do you expect to win by 24 playing garbage defence?

T.Turbo getting booed off the ground after getting an Ofa knee to the head. What class.
Kevin Walters managing to make a Parker try into a celebration of Wally Lewis. His bias is sometimes breathtaking for a NRL commentator.

Fathers day!
Although, my daughters got me a Manly membership pack..... I'm a Roosters fan. Hated either way! Although I now have a new arse cloth - the Manly cap

I know the feeling. Absolutely shit last 3 weeks where most of my team just forgot how to football. The team that will win had 5 players different to mine. 3 of those got 100+ scores in the last 3 weeks.

Bennett needs to get into them at half time. No way we win this by 24 defending like this.

When did you run out of trades? 17/18 same as me?
Now we're all done I'm hoping we can share some info

Going arrow over papali and rapa over hopa two shitest choices I’ve made. But hey, 20/20 hindsight.
If I’m being honest with myself, the dce and turbo 100s are the only thing that gave me a sniff, gotta take bad with the good

I need Jurbo to score less than 32 in the 2nd half

Yeah it was fairly early. A week or 2 after Origin. Maybe 18 or 19? Strategy was to just trade hard to get ahead and stay there which worked okay.Verbal Kint wrote:

I wish I could say it was my lack of trades that hurt me but I never really needed another trade. If I had a crystal ball to go with an extra trade thought it might have been a different story.
In conclusion, I've learnt nothing from my recent failure that will help me next year

Close, depends if he gives away some penalties as is his wont when he gets frustrated which is a given with this Manly defence Verbal.

And their 100s are the only thing that killed me. I wouldn't have picked a shit captain this week if I wasn't trying to make up the ground I lost from them. That totally destroyed me.

A podium is going down to the wire. Unless DCE shits the bed

Looks like Ofahengaue might have helped us both get an extra $500 each.Verbal Kint wrote:I need Jurbo to score less than 32 in the 2nd half

Not watching the game, but are you guys saying TTrbo is off?
Unlucky for him but that may well have secured me a top 50
Not sure there are that many popular players in this game I dont have. I.e. outside of DCE, Taupau, JTrbo (+ I also have Isaako).
Congrats to Verbal and Zora and others that have done well this season.
More importantly though thanks to all the contributors to the forum. It genuinely is the main reason I've done well this season.
