2018 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 69

Well looks like this interesting year of fantasy is finally over, pending updates I am sitting at 163rd.

My autofill team is sitting at 1897 so this has been a crazy journey as well

Not sure what to make of the season, with all the looping, missing features and changes to the game I can only hope that there is an improvement for next year and this one was simply a beta test.
But glad to see a strong showing on this forum with the site having a strong presence at the top of the rankings

Anyways look forward to the finals with the Sharks and all the off season drama so the year isn't over yet.
Unsure if I will do my thread for a 4th year so will just play it by ear and see what happens.

Anyways If I don't see people again until it ramps up later in the year, have a good one people and see you on the other side  

I was thinking we could put something in front of our team names next season like rngd do to show we are affiliated to the forum.

Good way to show off and maybe bring in more people to the forum.

It's great to see people here finishing up with some awesome results. Unlucky to those in the top 10 that just missed out on the line honours. I finished up 374. Missed out on my goal of top 100 but hey at least I won L9!

1003 for the final round thanks to Captain Jurbo. Cracked the top 300 overall too which I'll also take. Been a great season and this forum has never been better, both in bants and results

Updates and final scores all in. 1018 for me to bounce back from a horror week and snag 79th, and more importantly 12th in the Fanatics Overall for a League One place next year.

What are we going to do now?

Scores haven't updated for Storm/Panthers and Bunnies/Tigers game.

Haven't there been a few times this year where they just haven't bothered applying the updates of the Thurs/Fri games and spouted some bull about "different measurements"?

There is currently only 4 points between Parra Wildcard and Stuffness in the Eliminator. How can we be gaurenteed updates are complete or still pending ?

I don't think it's final yet and would wait till tomorrow.

Id say the 4 points that Cook is suppose to go down could mean some different results around a lot of leagues.  Captainers supose to lose 8 points right there.  Smith c as ptainers to gain 4 points too.  Cleary owed 4 points also.

Updated the app last night and now it just crashes everytime I try and open it so I guess I will never find out where I finished and that's the end of 2018 NRL Fantasy for me.

Anyone who followed the top teams closely know how many trades Junior Mints used post origin?

Final rank of 123.

My back 5 combining for 160. Including Tedesco. Definition of stumbling home, having extra trades wouldn’t have helped too much. Pretty happy with my approach, luck just ran out.

From a screenshot of his team from the last bye round he only has 2 different players. But I think RTS went out and back in. So maybe 3?

Another season of nrl fantasy done and dusted, I was hoping for my best season yet, but dropped in rankings (3721) in the last three 3 rounds due to injuries and lack of trades
I can't remember a season with this many injuries to my squad

I guess it doesn't really matter - I need to do better with my trades next season. Save a couple at least

I haven't been on the forum much this season, but have enjoyed reading back quickly on this thread, what a roller-coaster finish for some of the boys!
I wasn't a big fan of the whole loophole situation, and not convinced about the smaller squads, so I must admit I lost a bit of interest this season.

Not bye planning for round 17 and then having a number of players not backing up rd 18 really dropped my ranking. I managed to claw my way back up to finish in 132nd, but I did get as high as 14th during the season.

Congrats to all the prize winners and league winners, I managed take out the fanatics L1 league, and probably catch everyone back here next season!

Yeah he may well have done so, I didn't pay that much attention. Either way, he came home strong.
