I feel for Siebold and the Broncos. If they win, iWayne will claim the credit and say it's the reason he wanted to stay. If not, it cause he wasn't there. If Souths win, he'll claim credit there also. If Newcastle win, no doubt it will be because iWayne humbly decided to walk for the good of the club and the players with a year still on his contract all those years ago.

I think both clubs will be quite successful next season.

Naive to think otherwise. The Siebold email was a calculated move, in some form. The Broncos needed that out in the public, so they could pull the trigger.

It is interesting that the Broncos held off announcing Oates and Lodge (with Pangai still to be announced) until they got Bennett out the door.

Izaia Perese from the QLD reds has apparently signed. No idea if that is good or bad

Not gunna pretend i know anything about him,but the fluff article about the signing mentions a lot of higher-ups in rugby earmarking him as a star, so i guess that's something... if nothing else, it's nice to finally get one back after the amount of times we've lost good players to other codes.

As if poaching players from other clubs wasn't bad enough now they've stooped to pinching them from other sports. Shame on you Brisbane.

Few more details out now. Apparently he's signing on a trainee scholarship or something the like to play for Redcliffe with the view of a contract 2020, Seems almost like a backward step for a kid with so much potential, especially if he had a Reds contract. It must be pretty stinky over in Rah Rah

I would rather watch the A Leage than any aussie super rugby game. He will become a better player playing lower grades in brissy than he would playing for the Reds. Union is fucking terrible in australia at the moment.

I prefer to watch the Mitre Ten cup over any of the drivel that we serve up in Australia.

I think we all agree this year’s spoon will be hotly contested by the Bonzos, Manly and the bulldogs. Should be an enthralling battle.

Hey Wabbit, when was the last time you actually got an NRL prediction correct?

    Just wondering

at a guess i'd say 2014, but then you have to take into account that he's gotten that particular prediction wrong for the other 50-odd years surrounding it.

Broncos have signed fensom. Might get a semi consistent gig off the bench, might not.

Their young pack will burn out and stop going forward in the back end of the season, the halves will be left with no space and they'll get towled up. Fensom in the back half of the year could get a start
