I mean if your going to try to compare Taylor & Gordon with Oates, Gillet, Offa & Deardon instead of the actuality of being the equivalent of what Boyd & Macca being out would do for us then go for your life, not like it matters anyway, as i've said previously, we aren't good enough to win the thing and not bad enough to finish last, so until the first week of September, whatever wins we get and future talent we unearth for the years ahead when our games will actually matter is fantastic, the losses can just sit in the 'well that sucks' basket for the week.

Had a premonition that we were screwed as soon as they dropped Taylor. And that was compounded by the Macca selection.

Still tipped the Broncos though. Sad

Horrible game. Any news on Deardon?

Struggling to remember the last time a team, any team, looked as bored on the field as Brisbane did. Almost as if having a captain who couldnt be arsed attempting a tackle, week in week out, creates a bad culture for a team... Boyd needs to fuck off back to Burleigh or Tweed Heads or whatever second rate side isn't as embarassed to claim him as they should be. Maybe ask uncle Wayne if the Souths ressies need someone to cut oranges.

In all honesty, if you could play anybody outside the top 25 at a moments notice, Boyd wouldn't be in the top 20 fullbacks in Brisbane right now. The coffee lady at work would be harder to get past if she thought the opposition team was hoarding Kingstons then Boyd is and she's not on $800k with 1 fucking job. The Broncos touch team trained with the squad last week, give one of them a crack. A firm touch to the upper body probably wouldnt stop many rampaging second rowers but its more useful then Darius' best efforts. One of the girls plays in the AFLW on the side, give her a go.

Fucking protected species. Needs to be taken around the back and Old Yella'd into retirement, not leading the team onto the park. Id suggest keeping him off the field with a gig on the speaking circuit alongside JYY and Reed but I like those blokes too much to make them hang out with the personality vacuum that is Darius.

Im still off the team while they have Lodge running around but fuck me they are hard to watch without assessing the roof beams for structural integrity.

I think Isaako taking a shot on the bell at half time 26-0 down and missing sums up the performance nicely.

That's a hell of a rant mate. The funniest part was where it was all true.

We went from the best defensive team of the past month to conceding 64 points in 2 games against teams, on paper, we are a better footy team. Origin affected or not, that is unacceptable.

I was keen to see Isaako take over from Boyd at FB last year and this year but his form has been fucking deplorable this season. Give Perese a shot on the wing and fuck Isaako off to ressies for a reality check. Boyd needs to follow him but we all know that won't happen.

I actually would be keen to see a decent design with that colour palette.

That colour pallet is deadset the worst thing I've ever seen, what are we at a softer more washed out Wimbledon or something...

so rumours are that Milf and Boyd has swapped positions at training? seems odd that not one reporter would find that interesting enough to report on, so i'm skeptical, but it wouldn't hurt to try something new i guess, though my thoughts have been shared in this thread before that a cut-out pass does not make a 5/8th, i don't think i've seen Boyd stretch out on a run or kick a ball in about 42 years.

while i'm here, on a side-note, and a side-note that probably only i care about, but i need to vent somewhere: fuck the NRL for punishing our NRLW team going undefeated by introducing this stupid-ass point system that forces us to lose half our squad, and fuck the Dragons for poaching Breayley from us.
