The forum is actually quite pleasant without all these very fickle bronco and QLD supporters around

We're not fickle. We've just got shit to do. Darning socks, ironing tea towels, that sort of thing.

I must say, I've never had the "we're going to get creamed" feeling by the Knights in a bunch of years.....

haha yeah I remember when I was at uni and had an assessment due the next morning, always found my room was very very clean, as was the kitchen, loungeroom and the lawn was mowed.

    Funny that

And I predict a bounce back this week from the broncos. This will be a game where they look like a top 4 side but then they will look like a bottom 2 side again the week after.

Taking a page from Ice's playbook i see Laughing

also, If i'm a fair-weather fan for thinking Ben Hunt might cost his team a game for the 48th time before Origin 1, I'm curious as to what you would call some-one who predicts their 5th place side losing to a 12th place rabble...

Where did I say you were fair-weather because of Ben Hunt?
And where did I predict newcastle will lose?? I said brisbane would bounce back and look like a good side, I didnt say they would win.
Another argument youve made up in your head Surmbro.

Some of you blokes are fickle as fuck because you disappear when your sides are losing.

On that note, you can predict your team may lose and still support them.. what the fuck. Supporting a side doesnt mean you expect them to/think they will flog everyone every week lol.

    From the QLD thread:

    @surmo13 wrote:
the morons up top are still pricing it like we've got a spine of immortals, who would want to sell off a kidney to be there for Ben Hunt finding a way to lose it for us in the 79th minute?

as to the second part, you said the Broncos would play like a top 4 side, from there i just used a bit of simple common sense and extrapolation, after all, a team playing like a top 4 side should, by the very nature of the statement, beat a team that is below top 4.

well that settles that, Boyd is just as bad at 5/8th as he is at fullback. Happy enough for the club to find a way to release all 30 players and the coaching staff and just pull up some randoms dregs from the QLD Cup, at least then i can go into games knowing that we are supposed to be embarrassingly bad.

Laughing He fucked that attemped tackle up so bad, he looks like he got badly photoshopped in from a completely unrelated picture, surely we can pull together a Greg Inglis style retirement package for him.

I can’t think of a player I’d not swap with Boyd.

What he’s doing to those young fellas could scar them for years.

It's at the stage now where I honestly don't care if we lose, I'm just numb to us being shit. Sad but it's the reality of it.

Is this a direct quote from one of the players?

That comment was about people not turning up to the games because they dont have an awesome team any more lol
And also, lol, cool so another made up argument ... good stuff. I mean fuck, the roosters played like a top 2 side this week and still lost. Invisible dots hey...

I guess I was wrong tho.... hahahahahahah fuck they played badly.

Got a bit of steam when Gavet got sinbinned for wtf reason - and when Macca went off.
That boyd getting steamrolled bit... fuck me dead that was good to watch. Textbook not wanting to put his body on the line play. In attack he was no worse than what he has been at fullback, but at least there is now a fullback who has a good running game who will return the ball with some energy and pace. Great seeing newie get a win without ponga there too.

Good to see everyone back on the thread tho after the loss Smile

Nice burn, but factually correct strategy.

Just copy and paste my Darius rant from last game in for this week, and onwards for perpetuity until Siebold axes him.

There is not a chance in hell Boyd doesnt "retire" at the end of the year. Not a fucking chance in hell. If they dont tap Macca on the shoulder too they are idiots.

    scratch  :pinocchio:

Anthony Seibold wrote:“I thought Milf looked pretty good at fullback, and he’ll only get better there and Darius will only get better as a half.
“I just think that for our team at the moment, Milf is better suited to play fullback and Darius, his weapons are out the back of shape and on short sides.
“I also think that him defending in the frontline is a good thing. So we think that’s what we need to do at the moment.

What happens when Dearden is fit ?
