I think Haas will be in most teams anyway, which mitigates a lot of risk. What are the 212/230k cash cow must haves that he is supposedly fighting for a bench slot with anyway? The Warriors/Eels halves and? Garrick?

Nah, not at all. Better to invest elsewhere

Depends who you ask. A lot of people run two cheapies. Backs prices fluctuate so you can often pick up guns at a cheaper price. But this strategy can see a lot of trades wasted on dud centres. Having a gun therefore is not a bad idea.

Far too long, and I've spent the off season playing NFL fantasy for the first time. Not sure how I survived the off season before that

Broncos aren't Tigers is all I can say there. Broncos haven't paid big bucks to players if they want them playing reserve grade

    Fafita, Taupau?
    Cook, Smith, McInnes?
Feel free to add players you think are better or up there with the players i named in their respected positions

There have been some good arguements for starting Fifita over Taupau. Personally i've still gone Taupau. Who are Manly's bench props gonna be? Dont see them playing big mins. Also Taupau averaged what he averaged without having his score boosted with tries.

Manly also play 1st bye so thats a bye player i dont have to worry about trading in

Fair point, Taupau had a nudie run and Fifita's minutes decreased at the end of the year when the Sharks returned to full strength

Havent the knights signed klemmer, glasby and gavet.
Tolman or ofa are prob better options if you looking for mid range frf. Or even Surgess. At least you know he'll play 80.

Article on Tolo saying with the inclusion of McGuire and Scott and McLean back to peak fitness he is working on adding more offloads to his game to help the Cowboys run around a bit more and get some second phase play this year, because that’s the way they want to play.

This is good news for Cowboys backs I reckon who will see more early ball and hopefully more ball in open spaces. I myself think Feldt or McDonald are gonna have a pearler of year. QLD jumper up for grabs and running of the cowboys pack all year long. Can see lots of tries and open field play for them, Barba included.

Taupau had 71 offloads last season. Any chance Des wraps that up?

Doubt it. Taupau had a low error rate when it came to his offloads

Canterbury had 2nd most offloads in the nrl in 2017, which I guess suggests he isnt against them.

Manly is interesting if you consider the Des factor. For e.g. does he turn Jurbo into J. Graham mark 2 i.e. turning Jurbo into a ball playing lock who passes before the line & restricts his hit ups, run mtrs, tb's, offloads. Does he tell Taupau to limit his offloads. More telling the beauty of Turbo re fantasy is that he involves himself in just about every play & plays like a half at times so does Dessie tell him to play more like a conventional f/b.

I honestly think your thinking to much into it. I dont think the coach change will change the players playing styles dramatically.
