Maybe with Yeo now in the 2nd row To'o might actually touch the ball on attack, but even still, I think I'd go Watson. Has the higher ceiling, and moving from 7th you'll need to take the risk to move up further I reckon....Watson for me!

I'd go Watson too FWIW. You can't REALLY go wrong with either tbh but as R&T said you'd take Watson's ceiling

$1,400 short on getting TTurbo and Munster in for To’o and Ravalawa... with Teddy and Ponga both out, I need a HLF and a WFB.

Which combo looks better?

1. ARey and DCE as HLFs; RTS, TTurbo and CNK as WFBs

2. ARey and Munster as HLFs; RTS, TTurbo and To’o/Ravalawa as WFBs

So basically DCE and CNK vs Munster and To’o or Ravalawa?

Eliminator has us with 14/15 common players and with Murray probably 18th man.
Looks like my Angus, Burns and Edwards v their 2 turbos and a Xerri.
Thinking I'll trade out Nikora, move Ma'u to CTR and bring in Jake T. The right Captain this week might be vital.

Thanks lads, should have noted i can afford any half other than Munster (already have ARey) - but am leaning slightly to DCE over Cleary, with Moses and Brooks further behind in my reckoning.

100% focused on eliminator now. have an interesting match-up with lots of decent PODs on either side, although I could get burnt if a few guys don't back up from origin:

Me vs her (pre-trades)

JTurbo vs SST
Murray vs Ma'u
Ponga vs Watson
ARey vs SJohnson
CNK vs Mitchell
Tedesco vs TTurbo
McInnes vs Smith
Tolman vs Twal
Vaughan vs AFB

Would bring in TTurbo to play instead of a rested Tedesco, and DCE/Cleary to play instead of an injured Ponga.

Is it worth matching the captain of my Eliminator opponent (Taumalolo)? Or stick with Smith? I think I've got him covered with everyone else so better safe than sorry?

Edit: I'm assuming he'll captain Lolo because his only other options are McInnes and JTrbo

i’d say match if you think you have him covered. i think you change captains mid-round in this comp anyway?

Good point I didn't think about that. Yeah I'll match him and hope his motley assortment of PODs can't touch my team of established guns.

My eliminator is just ridicules.
15 common players. My Burns and Edwards verses their Bateman and TommyT, or whoever replaces Tommy T.
I can't image they'd trade Tommy and they could have bought in reserve Too so I think they may be playing AE roulette.
Capt and VC become important. Their Cook (VC) and Hess (C) verses my Hess (VC) and Tolo (C).
Edwards on 49 at half time is a bonus start.

i did, it was TTurbo. i completely missed the news he was rested. crap, could have brought in Munster after all.

For those chasing top spot, 1st more than likely played Tolman this week for 5. On the flip side the WFB carnage probably meant he held on trading out Watson....

Got a much tougher eliminator opponent this week but Watson and To'o got me off to a good start.

Oh. That would hurt 1st place if played him. I owned Tolman from round 1 for half the year and was very handy up till the 1st bye round before moving him on after that.

what happened to Tolman? one of my PODs in my eliminator match-up...

Had him lined up to go to Klemmer next week too.

NRL Physio said 1-6 weeks depending on severity, not sure if there has been an actual update from the Dogs
