We're expecting him not to be injured, yes.

Potential cheaper hooker option, someone who has 3/6 fantasy seasons of scoring 55+. 50% chance he’s a hooker gun this year, 50% chance he stays where he is priced

Offloads: 0.6 per game vs 0.78 per game
Run metres: 148 per game vs 126 per game
Tackles: 29.9 per game vs 26.6 per game

TL;DR tries and attacking stats were a contributing factor to score drop but decrease in base stats aswell

Vaughan was a gun in 2017... not sure what happened in 2018, it must have been some changes in the team line-up.
It's similar to Mansauce having an awesome 2017... but he didn't get back to gun status in 2018

Hats of to guys who consistently perform at gun level

I think it's more that Cook, Smith & McInnes are 800k+. At least with Macca he'll make 50 tackles a game but he has no speed or threat from dummy half although he has the ability to set up tries close to the opposition try line. Also maybe Siebold will encourage Macca to be more attacking & running from dummy half more but you can't coach speed & Macca doesn't have any.

Seibold's arrival could make a difference... as a player you do want to impress a new coach

Would be amazed if they play Vaughan more than 50 minute average. Has never played more than 48 in any season.

Not just minute increase mate, loss of a great player where the void has to be filled, Some players lift in the absence of others! Not the best way to pick fantasy players but he does has previous fantasy form

If there was to be no JDB, it probably means Graham plays more mins as the "lock", with Korbin starting prop.

I agree with Welshy though, there is more 'work' to be done while he's on the field when you lose someone like JDB.

That’s a case of fake news mate, they’ve just purchased two 5/8 this off season.

Here's my first crack. Will be interesting how many remain come round 1.

    Smith
    LAM Twal
    Murray Bateman Papali'i
    Sezer Morgan
    Croker Capewell
    Tedesco Hughes Brimson

    Mahoney Brown CHT Cartwright

    Haas Lomax Abbey Ravalwa

Might need to reduce my spend in ctrs and beef up my bench but I don't mind the look of it as a first draft.

Boot Croker, move Lomax to ctr & get another cc. Upgrade Cartwright to TPJ. imo Croker seemed to get injured quite easily & quite a bit in 2018 so I'd want to wait & see if his body can still handle it. Change CHT to Keighran as apparently Keighran in front of CHT.

    Cheers mate.

Yeah obviously I'll be taking whoever starts for the eels/warriors halves spots.

It could be my raiders bias but I think Croker could be one of the top scoring centres for the first half of the season. With Rapana out I think the raiders will favour their left side attack a lot more which in turn means more fantasy potential for Croker especially if Cotric does stay on the wing.

Agree I don't like Cartwright in there but hopefully someone better pops up around that price range otherwise as you say I will be forced to punt one of my ctrs (probably Croker  Crying or Very sad ) and upgrade

I'm hoping Seibold brings back his kicking game, he's been pretty good at it, has some 40/20's in him, but for whatever reason, he shelved it under Bennett's watch.
