Yes was my strategy to start the season last year too and hit top 30 round 1 with it.... was all downhill from there.

I think if you're starting with a lot of midpricers you have to nail the time period of upgrading them. Keeping them too long can hurt you significantly.

Hey mate, welcome back? You're name looks familiar but it says you have 1 post for me. What do you mean by break even?

Twal seems more interesting. Most of his games were off the bench 39.3 points in 36.8 minutes. He has more TB's and a higher ceiling. A starting role would see him very tempting. Any chance of that? But then there's ET as well. Any Tigers fans (or Rabbitohs fans) know what Madge is thinking ?

I thought I heard a rumour Madge wasn't an ET fan. Cant remember where I think I heard that ?

Just wondering also does anyone know what the go is with Mann? He’s quite a good defender but it seems strange to think he’d start at hooker over Levi? Did I miss something and Levi is on the outer?

I think 800 is where you want it at a minimum to be competitive, think I got 890 last year. 900 is a good score

Yeah I don't know why people have him in their teams already. I think Levi still starts unless Segeyaro signs

Hey all, looking forward to a new season, the big bash didn't quite sustain me this year after the wheels fell off my SC team halfway through.

We doing a cash league again? I'm keen, and I'd also be interested in a $50 (or $25 or whatever) draft comp as well if that takes anyones fancy?

Yeah I got stuck with guys like Rochow last season that had a form slump but wanted him for the first bye.

Rumour is Jackson to lock, rfm to bench and Martin chn on the edges. If this is the case he'll be in my team for sure.

Seems unfair to make RFM work for a start again. He was very good starting last year, one of the bulldogs best. I hope CHN is on the bench, not saying thats whats going to happen though, he wasn't that good last year

Competition is good for players and clubs. If RFM earns his spot in pre season then he’ll start

I agree rfm was great on the left edge last year but he also offers more off the bench than Martin or chn. Bulldogs have a logjam in the back row and I can see rfm moved to the middle.

The Doggies are so retarded, they’ve got forwards to burn and classless backs yet they go sign Napa and CHN. If CHN, Martin and RFM are all named it shows big red flags fantasy wise for me

Any rabbitohs fans want to predict who takes George's spot in the front row for first 3 rounds?

G'day all! Fantastic to have the game open. Thanks to MTB for the ability to tinker ahead of this. Two pet peeves with this A+ game currently are the inability to drag and drop on app or website and the lack or rank history! Hoping they would surprise us with that. Know I got 41st last year as it was my best ever rank but no idea on the others anymore.

Looking forward to being in League 1 and trying to maintain a top 100 rank this year.

Currently looking at going Cookless. For those in the same boat, who are you Captaincy thoughts? For me they are McC, Fifi and Crichton.

Is anyone seriously considering Capewell? He has a massive fantasy ceiling but he’s the Aubbs of the sharks. Is he worth it at that price? Or is Sorenson the safer bet on the other side?
