The Sharks are low on depth in the forwards so he's less of a risk than previous seasons.

At his price and available at centre, if he plays big mins in the back row he is definitely worth it IMO.

I domt reckon the Dogs signed CHN on big money to play him off the bench. Hard to judge the mins in that pack though

Fair point, I think the fact you can play him at centre is the main draw card, still, regardless of who the forwards are if 1,2,3,4,5 go down he will be the “cover” in some way. Suppose it would only be a one game scenario if injury occurred but with glass jaw Katoa and glass man Dugan who knows how many times it would be.

Just read tapine been training in the middle with papa. If he plays in the middle, I’ll be all over him like Corey Norman on mysteries white powder

Not necessarily. Depending on who the new coach is they could play a utility on the bench.

Could mean Bateman gets 80 on the edge then too. Had been hearing bateman was training at lock though.

In re assessing my previous comment I’d prefer tapine playing lock. But if Pateman (pommy Bateman)is as good as they say the raiders will do okay.

Bronson Xerri will cover centre and whoever misses out on a wing spot will cover the wings between Gray, Katoa and Feki

He played 80 mins on the edge almost all last season, how many minutes would you expect Tapine to get in the middle?

Capewell is on pretty much every draft team, it's fair to say he is being considered.

With Lewis retired and Graham injured, both sharks edge spots are up for grabs. Bukuya the other main candidate.
If Capewell gets one of them he'll be at CTR fir everyone.
If he loses his spot when Graham comes back, then hopefully he has made enough cash to swap to Mitchell/Marsters/keeper

Capewell scores just as well at centre though so it doesn't really matter does it? In fact in games he started from centre vs games started 2rf he scored better at centre.

Edit: That was last year I think. It was some notes I'd prepared a few weeks ago.

I'm pretty much avoiding all Raiders forwards at the moment. There is a lot of potential there, but until there something more concrete about who has what role, I am avoiding trying to guess the (fantasy) winner

Few people got the Aubbs shakes from years back and contracting it multiple years in a row probably look at Capewell and fear the same

I think I might pick Cook or Smith. Just to pod it up with a gun from the start. Makes my cappo choice easy... straight up between Isaako or Cook hmmmm

small sample size mate with a few tries and a 100 point game so skewed are his CTR stats!
