Napa gone actually does peak my interest in Tolman now that you mention it. Who starts at prop now by the way?

After several years of CTR being the position that everyone hates, are we going to be able to just chuck Bateman and Capewell there and forget about it?

If thy both get forward starting spots, it will be hard to ignore. Even Holland would probably take a back seat. I guess being priced at 40, Bateman might not provide massive value, other than being a solid scorer in the backline. Will be tough to ignore though (assuming he does start)

True, most likely. I'd like to see Renouf Toomaga get a go though. He had a good hype article last year about how hard a worker he is

I think Bateman is too awkwardly priced. Role not well defined yet. Better value elsewhere. Round 12 target though maybe once he's proven his worth.

Even with Napa who isn't a big minute worker, Tolman was looking at 55/60 by my guess

games off the bench at seasons start, but when playing 50+ minutes Tolman averaged 48 last year, which is his previous 3 year average

Reading in the SMH that French (244k) reckons the fb slot is between him and gutho.

“It has come down to me and Gutho, even though there’s still Hoffy and other players that can play there. Gutho, as usual, has been training the house down and is just as hungry as I am to fight for it.

Not sure if he's referring to the trials alone or season proper. If he were to take the fb slot then you would imagine Gutho moves to centre with the talk around d.brown

I agree. Took him out recently when I realised that

Cleary: should lift his fantasy game to avg around 60

60 is a bit ambitious? Playing with Maloney?

Cleary won’t average 60. However, he is slightly undervalued due to an injury game and not GKing straight away when returning. I feel he’ll average 55. My gun half has come down to him and Pearce. Pearce in at the moment as I think he’ll proably average 20 KM points a week next to Ponga.

Could be wrong but I could swear DCE averaged 60 or pretty close once.

Priced at 38, averaged 46 in 2017, averaged 46 in 2018 without the injured game. Makes him 120k underpriced and you’ll want Tedesco and Turbo as keepers and probably Ponga at WFB, so he’s probably not even a keeper. He’s been a lock all pre season and not saying no now but if I find better value around he’ll be one I won’t mind missing.

Has been in and out of my team also. I am spending more up top so missing Teddy and TTrbo. Ponga I am waiting on (new role etc). Otherwise I have looked at DEdwards or RTS as my one expensive WFB. I think there are many potential cows at WFB, so happy to have just one. Currently it is DEdwards but also not 100%

Seriously looking at putting Drinkwater in my backline. Just watching him in the lower grades last year
he screamed he was a level above and even forced his way in front of Hughes for a start in one game. In the Melbourne system he could be molded into a superstar.

In the QRL, he averaged 56.8 fantasy points. I understand that it's the lower comp but he just had that X factor. Whether it be Ponga, Milfy, Peachy, RTS or TPJ. You know X factor when you see it. I'm seriously considering taking the gamble and choosing him over Dylan Edwards.

Just can’t pick him based on 1 game at that price, nice stats though. Hoping Hughes gets the gig.

For sure worth consideration. I posted a while ago about how good his stats were and his quality certainly showed last year in the ISC
