Whoever gets the Storm No.1 gig will have earned it and has potential to be a gun for fantasy, be it Hughes or Drinkwater

Ponga had the fan fare in lower grade, some took a punt when he first played for the Cowboys albeit cheap and in limited action some again for the knights at a higher price last year

Regardless of lower grade if you have the TB ability, then it will translate, some players just have that natural ability to shake tacklers, will them in then a slap and go
How did his stats in lowers go up against Ponga?

That’ll be hard to track. NRL.com used to have a stat database for the NYC dating back pre-2010 but for some reason they got rid of it last year

Not sure if he's referring to the trials alone or season proper. If he were to take the fb slot then you would imagine Gutho moves to centre with the talk around d.brown
even hungrier then he was for a run in that game last year?

These stats were hard to find but well worth it with a confident fantasy pick if Drinkwater gets the 1 jersey

I think the difference in age between Drinkwater and Ponga at these periods (20 and 18) is cancelled out by the difference in difficulty between the ISC and the NYC. Drinkwater has every chance of going ballistic just like Ponga in the NRL

Hard to ignore they are, but still priced at 39 which is a pain, but has elite WFB potential by the looks

I have Drinkwater. He has been holding his place, even when I am looking for cash.

Drinkwater looks the goods and has been in my team since the 30th, but anything involving Bellamy and uncertainty is always going to be a massive headache. I'm considering switching him for Dedwards or Mansauce and banking the extra cash

On the Bulldogs this dude Ranga Dragons on sc fb reckons he has an inside source who is an exercise phsiologist who gave him some info of what's going on in pre season.
The backrow = 11.CHN 12.Jackson 13.Elliot - R. Martin is unknown atm whether he'll be bench or ISP. When you consider Martin was only really a fill in for injuries in 2018 & although his offensive game & gk are top notch the defensive side of his game was not up to standard in 2018. Also apparently Martin is not in good physical condition atm.
Goal Kicker = Holland will be gk if things stay the same & he'll be left ctr & Hopoate right ctr.
RFM = he has bulked up & whispers he'll play front row
Also keep an eye out Okunbor (2fr/ctr) who has been training on the wing. R. Smith has 1 wing spot & the other is between Crichton & Okunbor. M. Harper is unlikely to play.

I can't have that many donkeys in there though I don't think
With Bird also looking like fantastic value I've decided to move away from Milford purely so I'm not all in on Broncos

Brad Abbey also had some killer stats in U20s/ISP, which is why he suckered in so many when he got his debut.

Re: 2019 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 4
Gone back to 2016, here are the top 20 averaging players in U20s (min 5 games)
Nat Butcher
Nathan Cleary
Cameron Murray
Brandon Smith
Dylan Edwards
Isaiah Papalii
Gerome Burns
Luciano Leilua
Kalolo Saitaua
Esan Marsters
Jack Murchie
Jacob Liddle
Matthew Dufty
Grant Garvey
Jayden Brailey
Corey Waddell
Alex Twal
Zac Woolford
Erin Clark
Tyrell Fuimaono
Its a reasonable conversion rate to successful NRL fantasy scores, but there's also a few guys who never fully made the grade.
Was nice to be reminded of Nat Butcher's NYC stats. Averaged 75 points, 42 tackles and 180 run metres a game. But in NRL he seems to have been overtaken by Lindsay Collins in the pecking order.

I thought I read somewhere the talk for Holland was at fullback this year, or at least Hopoate to centre. If the only the latter, any idea who is fullback, who am I missing?
