Also what would make Radley a certainty for your team? starting lock?

He was on Green's edge. He had a couple games less than 80 last year. If he plays the 80 he scores okay. I guess he's slightly underpriced and people are hoping he improves on last year. I'd say he'd be a slower cashie

If Radley starts at luck, he's a lock in for me

I have found some love for arrow this afternoon. I just feel he was smashing pumpkins for the first half of last year and after his injury and origin he just ran out of steam and stalled a bit. With his talk of training harder than ever, giving up the sauce, not missing a single session and a couple trial games surely his fitness will be at another level this year. He is priced at 51 but averaged 59ppg before origin at 60.3 mpg (this is not including his 19pt, 18min game when he got injured) so could be a bit underpriced. I don't see him losing the minutes this year so surely he can keep that up all year. I think with the bigger presence up forward for the titans arrow wont be as gassed and may even provide more boom for longer.

Dce was my first picked. I know he is top dollaydoos but, i Cant see myself trading him out unless injured.

Anyone got good reason as to why I shouldn’t start him?

Hasler. people are nervous how his negative gamestyle will affect the big gun players from last season.

So my team that includes jurbo, turbo and dce might need adjusting? I mean I do hate manly. But they are good players

Possibly. I only have Jurbo at the moment and I'm nervous with just him. Hasler is good at ruining fantasy scores.

Some Dogs games under him in 2017 was awful to watch because they struggled to score every game.

I wouldn't worry about DCE, unless he loses GK, should still get bulk KM with Elgey but his GK pushed him from gun half to top 2 gun half

Same for JTurbo, massive minutes that won't change not like he's scoring 10 tries a season which Des which alter

In an attempt to illicit some talk away from the normal discussions and get the fantasy juices flowing even more so, will pick a player from each team and we can discuss their fantasy merits, de-merits, potential for increase etc etc

After one has been discussed please feel free to put a name forward for the next debate

Will do the teams in alphabetical name order so starting with the Donkeys I'll go with...

James Roberts. CTR, $513,000 priced at 34.4 avg

Owned him for the back half of the year. Watching him it felt like he was always half a step short of that big play and timing was a little out. Might have been carrying a niggle. I expect Broncos to be a top 6 team this year and based on the way Souths played last year should see a lot of free flowing football. One to watch for me but probably too expensive to start

43 average the season before, so he has previous form, probably right on assessment of being a step off the big play a few times, scored 9 last year, season before 16

I think he is a decent price to start season, and a potentially huge POD going against the grain of the Capewells, Batemans, Hollands etc if they mis-fire

Reckon he would be getting more looks if the above mentioned weren't so juicy in the traditionally difficult CTR position

Word is he will get more ball this season but we also can't leave Bird over on the other side going cold. I think a lot depends on Seibold tbh. Last season we favoured Oates' side of the field so Jimmy suffered a bit, hence his average. Things could change but I think at this stage it's a bit of an unknown with Jimmy.

Not for me right now but trials could change it.

Struggled playing outside Niko who is more of a runner than ball player. Takes a lot of sting (and fantasy points) out of his attack. Only really done well when given the ball early to use his speed. Interesting point is he will have Gillett back and as stated the year before averaged a lot better.

This is what we want lads! Some difference in player selection and some new debate

I personally have Roberts down as a smokie to chuck in my team before seasons start as a POD which starts the season hot

    plenty of risk/reward

Does RTS get an increase in touches/influence/fantasy output now that Shaun Johnson has moved on? Priced at 44.

Obviously Ponga, Teddy & Turbo are the 3 favorites to finish the season as top 3 WFB scorers.

Can't help but think there's some upside in RTS to creep his way into that top 3...

Awkward price again. Could improve again, but as someone else said he's still outside Nikorima and there's a few guys 100k cheaper, it's a hard sell.

this is the major downfall IMO, too much potentially safer options with 80 minute solid edge scores
