Haha yeah had a week back there and tucked into a few beers but it was last year on crutches/no cardio for two months and then Christmas that did it to me.
Chipping away at it slowly now!

Obviously Ponga, Teddy & Turbo are the 3 favorites to finish the season as top 3 WFB scorers.

Can't help but think there's some upside in RTS to creep his way into that top 3...

Don't think I'll be going near any Warriors players at the start of the season while Green is under an injury cloud.

Also on Roberts; Broncos have a tough start to the season with Storm away, Cows and Dragons at home then Roosters away, so that's another thing against picking Roberts.

Surely there's no upside. Will he get 17 tries at the Eels?. Might still get his TB's and 200m out of their end, but surely his avg goes down????

    James Roberts, General consensus.

    Potentially underpriced
Too many other safer, cheaper CTR options currently
Concerns about Niko undervaluing him, Return of Gillett may help (career year previously)

Does anyone want to bring forth the discussion for the next player? From the Canberra Raiders

Totally agree. Not on my radar at all. Too risky.

Roberts has a great record against the Cows actually, draws don’t really matter anyway

Great Summary. What about Joseph Leilua? Had a pretty below par year last year. A 1 minute -1 score too if i remember correctly...

    Let's do both!

Aiden Sezer. HLF. $389,000. Priced at 27.2

BJ Leilua. CTR. $517,000. Priced at 35.2

Can’t see Sezer been a decent buy. Just don’t rate his game, doesn’t take like on enough. Reckon with wighton at halves he does more kicking but less attacking stats overall. Think it’s a bad idea.

BJs decent scores are carried by Ta and Lba to rapana and his general threat. I reckon old field will take rapanas spot, and don’t see bj ever passing it to him. Plus a complete knucklehead

    Think both are too risky

BJ - just cut and paste my J.Roberts concerns.

Sezer much more interesting. If Wighton is in halves, nearly all the km's will be Sezer's.  Not the Raiders seem to have as many km's as other teams for some reason. I would suggest the playmaking largely is Sezer's too. Also could be some lucky bonus upside with gk if anything happens to Croker. Could make decent cash and if can squeeze out 45's  could keep until rd 12. I don't see all of that happening though. A LOT would have to go right.

Aiden Sezer seems like a trap to me. Averaged above 40 at the titans with gk so he is capable albeit that was with gk but I think his last two years have been too bad fantasy wise to convince me to get him. I can see the apppeal though with Wighton at 5/8

Have always enjoyed watching Sezer, has serious previous fantasy form but that was 3 years ago when he averaged
45 over a 3 year period at the Titans. Where he had bulk KM and GK

Wightons move to Half should mean Sezer regains bulk KM duties, Croker still there means he doesn't get GK. Priced 2 points under his average playing stints off interchange at start of season. I think he has the potential to go around 35, maybe eeking towards 38 but with the rookie halves available and Morgan, I'm not sure he is worth the risk

BJ Leilua. CTR. $517,000. Priced at 35.2

Pretty much the same as Roberts with my BJ assessment, so many potential cheaper options with banded 80 minute edge roles and cheaper alts like Bird/Hampton/Holland etc

He seemed to alienate some of his teammates last year, maybe it was effecting him. Again has some serious previous fantasy form and until last year when he averaged out he was flip flopping between great and mediocre fanatsy seasons 36, 40, 30, 49, 33, 35

Not going near Leilua after last season. Half the time it looks like he gives no fucks.

Blake Austin was at the centre of a lot of bj dramas at raiders. Personality clashes coming to blows at training on more then one occasion. His absence might improve things? But bj is thick as shit, there’s be a line of people who hate him in the team.

Talking to an ex raiders captain the other day, BJ is the only person I’ve ever heard him say a bad word about. Said he is poison. Funnily enough said that Corey Parker is a giant fuckwit, and was universals hated, even by his own team mates. That doesn’t count as a bad word, coz I agree

BJ Leilua is one supposedly looking fantastic and training the house down (rather than eating it). Last year average of 38 if you remove the two injury affected games. Averaged 49 a couple of seasons ago.

A raiders fan friend mentioned that there has been talk (likely just forum chat) of him playing some 2nd row, but surely garbage considering the logjam of forwards at the raiders. Will Rapana being out influence his scores any?

He's a player capable of being DallyM centre of the year and scoring massive in fantasy also. Personally, I think he's a bit past his best. It's a no for me, but I'll be having a look at trial form. You could gamble on worse players...

I don't doubt that about BJ, kid is a clown!

Could be a great player but seen it so many times before, more interested in himself than the team
