You know Welshy when I started researching
Surgess I was reminded that I had completely forgotten about the fact that I'd captained him for his injury affected 10 points. I also (as my last trade of the year) brought in Fitzgibbon in rd 24 and captained him for his injury affected 8 points. They were unlucky, but I also stupidly captained Tedesco round 1 for his 29 (only to get 70 the following week) and Milford in rd 4 for his 36 (only to get 87 the following week).
Like (I think?) Verbal said Captain choices are hugely important. I finished 1374 but should've finished so much better, in the top 1000 at least. Lessons learnt:
1. I've heard Welshy say, don't captain a back unless is a last ditch end of year gamble, and he's right.
2. I don't think opposition really matters all that much.
Edit: 2.5. Captain your best guy.
3. Shit happens, you have to just suck it.
