I'd say that is why they signed him.

Priced at 19, if he's fit enough he can average low 30s. OK cash cow, not great for scoring 17. Might be a good DPP emergency if you can afford the extra cash over base price. His likelihood to be in my team is dependent on how many other viable cashies appear in round 1.

I still don't understand the rationale of the Cowboys buying Kahu. To think he was probably going to play reserve grade for the Broncos so the Cowboys have essentially purchased a washed up reserve grader who is past his prime & is injury prone.

Do these clubs even do due diligence. You wouldn't buy a house with no roof.

What is everyone's thoughts on Ben Hampton this year? Is kahu going to have a negative effect on him?

I cant see kahu playing fb, but maybe hampton will, with kahu playing centre. Most of the cowboys other centre options are pretty drab. Kahu at centee is prerry drab too tbh.

Im prerty sure he wasnt on much at the Broncos, so I'm guessing the Cows havent paid that much either..

One of the strongest benches I’ve seen so wouldn’t say it is the template!

Amazing what Brown and Nikora starting can do. Should see more of this (starting punts and bit more depth) come TLT

Do you guys think that running without Fifita is worth it if you can make more cash over the first few weeks? Say running with Tolman and TPJ until they peak should net 100 each week plus some nice cash

Peats played 69 minutes vs 33 minutes for Rein, they both played together with one moving to lock role, I wouldn't expect Peats to play any less

Surprised no one is picking up Roache or Papalii from the Warriors. Roache is a chance of taking the 9 this season, as well as Luke being injured (though haven't heard an update lately). Papa is moving to lock and is known as being one of the young defenders in the game, minutes is his question mark, but played 80 mins regularly last season.

I've currently stacked my team with mid range cows, with some solid keepers in the mix, and a splash of bottom dollar cows. Don't like trading backs, but don't like splashing on them. That'll be my hardest point to get right.

Gillett is another who is featuring much, has been a regular 48-50 point player until last season, I can't see him getting anything other than 80 minutes of game time. Inside word suggest otherwise or what?

Gillette is coming back from a serious injury, doubt he plays 80 to start. Can see Difita getting big minutes to start the season and if he proves he is worth the minutes, I can't see them taking them off him again.

If Fifita sticks it will be in place of Glenn, no way Gillett if fully fit gets dropped, too good!

Luke won't be replaced by Roache. Worst that will happen is he'll be on the bench, play 20 and earn 16 points.

Papali'i as far as I'm aware is playing 2RF. Burr is tipped to start at lock with Pulu likely to be on the bench.

I don’t think he’ll go to the lock role that’s why I see him playing less I see it around 45 Peats to 35 Rein

If you didn’t know, like I didn’t, Cleary and Maloney has swapped edges so Cleary will line up next to Kikau and Blake. That is a juicy edge all 3 will dominate fantasy. Cleary also said Dylan Edwards will be the fullback and he said it’s up to the trials who gets the hooking role with no talk of having both of them. This could mean nothing but yeah take it as you will.

Disappointed to lose Kahu, good depth player. Definitely wasn't in our best 17 going into the season so understand his want to leave.

I agree with MTB that he probably won't play FB and it should be Hampton I reckon. Jordy is a bit slow these days and not a great FB honestly. He's probably best as a winger tbh...

Is starting D Brown a good idea?

Tossing up between where my 2nd keeper level player should be - WFB, HLF or 2RF. Basically with the DPPs I have and moving around the interchange I have a few options.

Basically if you had 820k to fill a position in 2RF, HLF or WFB who would you pick? (If in 2RF I start D Brown)
