@Rupture_NRL he also got knocked out by Napa I think and as a bit groggy but passed his HIA to play the next week. Also he didn’t just dislocate his elbow he hyper extended it didn’t he?

Yeah, the Broncos site listed it as:
"As diagnosed, the scans have confirmed McCullough has damage to the medial ligament in his elbow."
He was expected to miss 4 to 6 weeks but only missed one game. Was hampered by the injury for quite a while though.
He missed most of last years pre-season. This year he's had a full pre season.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 6
Broncos named their team for this weekends trial.
Some fairly obvious absentees who will be there round 1 and probably not alot to take away from it. Pangai named at #13 will get people excited, I'm pretty sure that's where he'll be named in round 1 anyway. Glenn and DFifita fighting for the left edge spot..
I guess Dearden getting the #7 jersey again shows he's come a long way quickly (he is still only 17, turns 18 the week the season starts).
BRONCOS NRL TEAM
1. Tesi Niu
2. Richie Kennar
3. Kotoni Staggs
4. Jack Bird
5. Herbie Farnworth
6. Sean O’Sullivan
7. Tom Dearden
8. Payne Haas
9. Jake Turpin
10. Shaun Fensom
11. Alex Glenn
12. David Fifita
13. Tevita Pangai
Interchange:
14. Gehamat Shibasaki
15. Sam Tagataese
16. Thomas Flegler
17. Patrick Carrigan
18. Cory Paix
19. Jamil Hopoate
20. Jaydn Su’A
21. Tanah Boyd
22. Xavier Coates
23. Ilikena Vudogo

Oh right, it was a hyper extension lol I just remembered it was something about his elbow. But yeah, he was hampered all 2018. He's only turning 30 and he's a machine. If he's injury free, 55 average should be expected.

I'm back lads!
My work schedule over summer is stupid crazy and NFL just doesn't do it for me, even though I try every year haha.
But back and looking forward to another big season with you boys. Done no research and really don't know a lot of what has been going on. Haven't even logged back in yet to look at prices and attempt a team so will be relying on you guys like always.

Kahu for me feels like a trap. He's not strong enough to break tackles and he goes down quicker than a groupie.

NRL PHYSIO
@nrlphysio

More
Will Chambers will miss Friday’s trial for the Storm (& possibly next week), but expected to be fit for Rd 1 after ankle injury in All Stars game. Concern by video is for a mild right high ankle sprain/syndesmosis injury. Often require 1-4 wks recovery

Thanks lads, you friendly mofos are still the same group of legends I see, of course. So good to be back, I'm sorry I've been MIA. My activity over the next month will still be a bit sparse but once the season starts, boom!!

Just jump to the NRLFF community managed thread to find a decent cookie cutter team:

Would be interesting to see Wolfking put a team together before reading up on the forum (group think)/etc and see how it lines up

Flavour of the week? Footy news is so slow that this actually is news? At least it isnt rapey, so that's a nice change.
I think we tend to get a bit over excited about players changing teams, particularly for 80 minute players. Does a new jersey really mean they will change their game significantly? I guess for outside backs, if they go to a team who scores twice as many tries as their previous team, maybe?
Idk. Just rambling.

It's the same sort of thing after you watch a trial you instantly want to put 6 players from the trial in your team.
