Does anyone know (maybe @Milchy does) what happened to NRL Fantasy Stats. The site hasn't been upgraded for this year so have problems finding peoples scores from last year.

That's a great idea mate. Haven't looked through any pages yet so I may even go a bit MIA again for a couple of days and see what I can come up with with no research or influences.

@TheWeapon Speaking of slow news days and players going to clubs who score more. There was a story / stat doing the rounds linking Morris' fantasy points to his teams win percentage which was kinda cool to they shot it down by saying his scores also correspond to him getting older and slower.

I really don't want to pick Kahu.
But an 80 minute goal kicking fullback for 287k is tempting.. as an NPR you could hope for a string of decent scores and jump off prerty quick.

nrlfantasystats is the offshoot.
Supercoach stats is the original, and the guy(s) behind it branched out to fantasy stats as well. Guess at some point they got bored of scraping the fantasy data out
I don't know them or who they are, so if you can't contact them through the site I wouldn't know what to do.

Jordan Kahu's Fullback adventures
2017
round 12 - 28 pts (78 min)
round 16 - 30 pts (80 min)
round 17 - 8 pts (80 min)
2016
round 12 - 39 pts (80 min)
2015
round 1 - 17 (80 min)
round 2 - 30 (80 min)
round 3 - 49 (80 min) includes 1 try
round 4 - 29 (80 min)
Average for theses 8 games that included goal kicking is only 29 points. Priced at 20 points per game then there is an upside if he can stay injury free

The contact link for email doesn't work, contacts for FB and twitter go to a supercoach link. Its a shame so many people are moving towards supercoach. To me its an inferior game that requires a lot of luck and is too easy. I wonder if people are flocking to Supercoach because its a better platform then what Fanhub provide us.

Easy to get people on board with nrl supercoach straight from bbl supercoach as well.
Its amazing how often ill chat to a casual and they do/know supercoach, but have no idea what nrl fantasy is.

SC has always been played by more people because as Bluetige said it's easier. You can pick a sc team in 5 minutes & have plenty of guns but it takes much more effort to play nrlfantasy, much more research/analysis & skill.

My current sc team has Cook, A. Fifita, Taupau, A. Crichton, Arrow, Kikau, Cleary, C. Walker & Tedesco. Good luck trying to fit all of those into a nrlfantasy team.

I agree mate. I play both nrlfantasy & sc but I probably spend 90% on nrlfantasy & 10% on sc. SC might be more popular because it's easier for casuals who aren't big on stats, analysis of teams, etc to pick a boom team but also I think the prizes are better in sc. What annoys me with SC is that living in NZ I'm ineligible re the prizes. If say I fluked it & came first then the prizes would go the 2nd assuming they lived in Aussie.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 6
Is Kikau underpriced? Priced at 45.5, next to Cleary this year, worked his way up to 80 minutes a game last year and should get 80 minutes just about every week this year, plus running next to Cleary and Blake could be in for a spike in tries and even ta’s. Can easily go 50+ and possibly even 55?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 6
I'm not sure whether Kikau got tired to finish the year but he averaged 41 points across the last 7 games playing 80. So he is a risk at that price. Just not quite an Angus Chricton for me because he misses tackles and doesn't make as many. Could go gangbusters next to Cleary though.

14910
It doesn't fit exactly with 2018 averages, because they apparently have tweaked starting price based on last year's ownership. But 14910 is as accurate as you'll get for a starting point.

30 is not really good enough for a scoring 17 player, except maybe a base price one.
I think Kahu might be useful as a DPP emergency that makes a bit of cash though, depending on what other cheapies TLT throws up.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 6
Supercoach gets promoted more then Fantasy. NRL.com don't care otherwise the Scout AKA Chris Kennedy would be doing a lot more to promote it including making sure the game works properly and the regular user thinks it is OK. Better prizes would help too.
