Ideally Surgess goes to prop and Turner goes to second row

If George goes, Liam Knight is the big minute prop. We’re trying to offload Turner. Young Tom Amone was signed a couple of weeks ago and he has a big future.

George still needs to serve his three match ban. Don't know how much that factors in to Bennett's thinking.

Turner is done. Don't want him anywhere near the team.

Seems like a bit of a no brainer for George to leave, if reported figures are correct....
To me, it seems like a dud deal for the Eels. You're going to pay 700k a year to george burgess in 2020 and 2021? Yeah nah

Bennett just brought Lowe, I’m thinking Surgess goes back to frf and they bring him in

Sometimes in FPL (fantasy premier league) you go for defensive coverage as points are equal for defenders
Does the same principle have merit in NRL fantasy (say picking a cheaper player of one team in a similar role to a more expensive player - e.g. in my team I am currently struggling to fit a Roosters player and Radley seems a worthwhile prospect or D.Fifita v TPJ and Ofa)
Thoughts??
No i don't think so as there is nothing like clean sheet points. Closest will be picking up goal kickers as whoever scores the try etc then the goal kicker has a chance to pick up extra points.

Fuck that's who I meant. I was wondering why people where saying hes done? I know he hasn't been the same since his neck injury but still offers alot

Yeah, verdict is out on Lowe. He is worth giving a shot too though. Pre injury he was awesome.

Lowe has not been the same player post his neck injury. I suppose it's a confidence thing re fully committing to a tackle for instance. But that was 2018 he could possibly have a bounce back year because he hasn't given up on his career.

Definitely, wouldn’t say he’s the player he was but people forget that Hess (origin player) and Cooper
(Origin player) hold the second row at the cows so it’s a tough spot to crack. He will be ideal for the Rabbits there who will get a large extension in mins played from their first 13 and a wealth of experiences to boot.

Let's say George leaves, Lowe takes the edge. Does Sam step up and play prop? I know be scored less on the edge but nowadays lock has just been used as another prop. Might be a thought when looking at the FRF stocks right now

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 6
Thoughts on Widdop as a POD? Obviously would be contingent on him playing fullback, but I can see him being a handy early season option for the following reasons -
* Dragons usually fire early
* Widdop kicks goals and it seems unlikely that Lomax will get the kicking off him.
* Widdop at fullback would likely be playing both sides of the ruck while Norman stays on the left and Hunt on the right, hopefully meaning a few more attacking stats.
* Widdop at fullback would gain some kick return points, but would still likely be kicking quite a bit in general play, plus he looked good at fullback when he played there for England
Only downer is if they put Dufty at fullback or on the bench, but I highly doubt they'll do that. At his price (557k), and compared to others at a similar price like Drinkwater, Edwards etc., he seems like the best of them if he's playing FB and kicking goals, to the point where I could see him rivaling the top tier WFBs, at least early season while the Dragons are firing. That said I also have one of Edwards/Drinkwater/Watson pencilled into my WFB, and will take two of them if Widdop doesn't get the #1 jumper.
Cheers lads

Read an article that Widdop is fullback, Hunt and Norman halves, Dufty bench to start the season. Hunt could spell McInnes with Widdop moving to halves and Dufty to fullback during games.

I saw that, but waiting on TLT to be sure. As long as Widdop is at fullback and Dufty isn't on the bench then he's in, otherwise I'll leave him out.

What happens to everyone's teams if:
1) Lowe leaves Cowboys and starts 2Rf for Rabbits
2) JDB is rubbed out of the game, Friz goes to lock and Leilua starts.
3) David Fifita gets the start in 2RF and plays 80
4) Both Capewell and Nikora start (I guess they are centres)
5) Lachlan Burr starts at lock
6) Tapine starts at 2RF (80 mins)
There could be a plethora of second row forward options to peer with Stimson, Murray and Arrow/Chricton

First two, I'd strongly consider, and probably get at least one. Won't take risk on D Fifita, and I honestly don't think he will play 80, at least early in the season. Nikora would be in my side. At this stage I am very unlikely to touch Burr, and Tapine I will be passing on.

Titans have named their trial side. Not much of interest, Cartwright named second row, but most of their first choice pack aren't playing.
