Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 thread part 8
I’m looking at a 4.5% ownership on Kerr. Is this the results of a successful all star and trial game or are people thinking he could be in line now ahead of Leilua?

Has Korbin played much backrow in the past? I thought he would be more of a bench forward.
I'd start Leilua in the second row over Korbin anyday.

He has in the past, but in my opinion, he's terrible there.
He is really jsut a middle forward now anyway. He said on the Dragons site he wants to earn the starting lock position.
Leilua's only chance of starting is if they move Frizzel - personally I reckon he'll stay on the right edge, but nothing has really been said either way about that yet.

Chris Lawrence broken jaw. Luke Garner in everyone's team.
"After picking up an injury at training, the club has confirmed that Chris Lawrence has sustained a broken jaw and will miss the start of the 2019 NRL season.
Lawrence will consult a surgeon in Auckland today with the club able to provide a better evaluation of his expected recovery time following that."

How Many minutes can we expect him to get, last season he played 6 games, 3 of those were over 40 minutes for an average of 33 in 51 minutes in those 3 games... Is that what we are expecting from him when he starts?

if the bench stays at
14. Josh Reynolds
15. Matt Eisenhuth
16. Alex Twal
17. Michael Chee Kam
Then Twal and Eisenhith will play middle, Reynolds as utility, and Chee-Kam as back row + outside back injury cover.
Chee-Kam played minimum of 25 minutes every time he was on the bench last year (different coach this year may have different views)

He had a few hia affected games. Reason for a few of those low minutes. If I was to guess, I'd say 55-60 minutes for Garner.Drifterspence wrote:

Broken jaw recovery is likely 6-8 weeks plus another 1-2 while they put the beef back on from not being able to eat. Would see garner play the first 5 rounds I reckon, if he averages 35 he makes about 100K, if he averages 40 about 150K anything higher and you’re laughing.

If he's trying to get to 40 points in 55-60 minutes, he doesn't scream must have.

I watched the game "Shaggy" had a good game and I reckon if named on TLT he'll sneak into a few sides

Drew Hutchison named on the bench for the Roosters game. Distinctly remember the hype he generated ahead of the 2017 season when Benji Marshall left the Dragons. Scored 64 in the last round of the 2016 season and then Josh McCrone snagged his spot after he did his ACL, then ended up going over to England. Played pretty well over there for Leigh, wonder if we'll see him playing again

Will do it tonight. I have to just make sure I'm set with my team name this year.

Just went through my team and had a look at ownership percentages. Pretty surprised to find my lowest owned player was A.Reynolds at 3% or so. Maybe he is just a terrible pick haha

Spent a lot of preseason with him in my team but I ended up with Munster as I think he is better value. Will likely be in my final 17

Is this the asshole that robbed Kurt Mann of the half jersey last year when we all got him specifically for the last bye round?
Edit: nope it's Darren Nicholls I'm thinking of. What an asshole.
